The first paying guest at 2 Bamburgh Gate had the misfortune to arrive in Feb during a period of appalling cold and wet weather. There was an problem with the bathroom heater not working properly but the shock mentioned was checked-out and turned out to be just static created by new flooring. Free logs were provided by us for the stove to somewhat compensate for the reduced heating in the bathroom but unfortunately these did get wet while standing outside. When the weather eventually settled down the gardens were landscaped and planted. We have no argument with the validity of this feedback, which was mostly fair. It was welcomed on that basis and acted upon, although we feel the two star rating was somewhat harsh considering that the issues were relatively minor and that overall most of the feedback was favourable.
