Lovely pet friendly cottage in great location. Cottage has everything you will need and more for a break away. Very clean and well maintained. Lots of small villages to visit just a short drive away and not too far from St Andrews. Lower Largo itself is a lovely little village with a friendly pub and shop just steps away. Only small drawback for us was that the garden is not attached to the house which would have been better for the dog. We ate in the Upper Largo Hotel bar which was very nice and dog friendly. We also found that dogs were welcome in the Byre Theatre, St Andrews which was really nice for lunch. …
The Beach House
Peaceful and relaxing
Great house with lots of character, the enclosed balcony is a fantastic feature, who needs a tv with a view like that to look at day and night. The house is well equipped with good quality furniture and fittings and is in a great location for the beach and other amenities. We had a very peaceful week and hope to return. …
We love Lower Largo and staying in Pauline’s house made our stay even more enjoyable. The house is beautifully decorated and a great base for exploring the surrounding area. …

PERIWINKLE BEACH HOUSE
Fantastic beach house
I have just returned from a wonderful family holiday at Periwinkle. Charles and Karen, the owners and hosts, were so warm and welcoming throughout our stay. They add lots of little extra special touches.

Rockvale Cottage on the beach in Lower Largo. Winter bookings & short breaks.
A Beautiful Home on the Beach
Have just returned from a 3 day family get together to this lovely home. Bedrooms provide lovely views especially the master bedroom with balcony. The kitchen is very well equipped with top quality appliances. The dining and living areas are very welcoming and you really do feel like you are staying in someone’s home rather than some sparsely equipped rental. “Now” television, books and games provides good options for entertainment. We did the Fife Coastal Walk to Elie which great fun especially when blessed with good weather. The reward of the Ship Inn for drinks and food at the end of our trip was very welcome. Just jumped on the bus for the return trip and stopped off at the excellent Railway Inn for top up refreshments. Lovely memorable trip assisted by Fiona. Would highly recommend the accommodation and location. Who doesn’t like to step out your living room and be virtually on the beach. …
Cardy Cottage, Lower Largo
Lovely coastal cottage
Just returned from a weeks holiday at the lovely Cardy Cottage. The cottage is clean, comfortable and well equipped. With the beach only metres away from the cottage, there are lovely views across the Firth of Forth from the bedrooms. An excellent place to chill out, read your book and hear the sound the sea! …

Beach house in Lower Largo which can accomodate 10
Fabulous Property in a great location.
We stayed in this wonderful property for a 5 day October holiday with family. The property is magnificent and the interior is very spacious and of a high standard. The location is fantastic with private access to the beach where our children had lots of fun playing. The living area was great for relaxing and entertaining with views across the Forth that you never tired of admiring. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious with a large dining table. There was a very nice den in the attic with a tv and DVD player where the children could play or watch a movie. Easy access to the Fife Coastal Path for our morning runs. Lots to do in the local area Climb Largo Law (our kids 8 & 10), Ellie Chain Walk (kids managed this too), Kids loved the Leven swimming pool with waves and flume followed by half hour in amusements! Great golf courses close by. We also played boules on the beach. Food in the Crusoe good and convenience shop at the end of the street is well stocked. Lisa the owner responded very quickly and met us at The Haven with keys, Wine and biscuits - We will be return soon! …
