“Recommended” I took the 3-day package and stayed with my spouse. The visit coincided with my birthday and I was pleasantly surprised when Ali, the cabin owner, gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. I don't know if this is her standard greeting to new guests but it was very much appreciated. The complimentary milk was a treat too. All the facilities are as described in the letting blurb and, like the other reviewers, I had a really good time relaxing in the sauna/hot tub or watching the Sky package at the end of my day. One minor quibble (and it is minor) is that the bedroom is described as 'en suite'. Since it is the only toilet and the bedroom is part of the open plan layout of the cabin it is not 'en suite' as I understand it. Ignoring my pedantry, this is a visit I would heartily recommend to family and friends.

“Perfect, perfect, perfect!” We stayed at Lawers Rest for four nights on our holiday in Scotland. The house itself was superb - really clean, excellent layout, all amenities that we needed, and a gorgeous view to boot! We saw deer in the mornings which our girls loved, and also saw a wide range of bird life on the property. There is plenty to do in the area, and in fact there were things that we'd have liked to have time for which we just didn't. I would recommend The Birks of Aberfeldy, Acharn Falls and The Scottish Crannog Centre for starters! We had a great time, and were all sad to leave, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this beautiful property to others.
