“Family Easter Break” The Captain's House was simply lovely. Warm, comfortable, with plenty of space for us all and everything we needed and more. We really enjoyed our time here and the only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. Lots to do in Falmouth to keep us busy. Really enjoyed the Maritime Museum with the Titanic exhibition and the children had fun with the Pirates. Of course there were the beautiful Cornish beaches and countryside to explore when the weather allowed and it was great, after a tiring day, to return to such a welcoming home. Would definitely like to visit again.
“Mr john Canning” Lovely property, great location for us because we could walk into town. Property had everything we needed and allowed us to bring our small dog with secure outside space. We will be visiting Falmouth regularly to see our son at university so would stay at the Ghyll again. Thank you.
“Lovely little hideaway cottage” Spent an excellent week here. A beautiful cottage with lots of original features and modern style and comfort. Spotlessly clean with everything you need.
The owners where extremely welcoming and helpful.
Walks and woodlands surrounding the cottage are stunning. Local pub and shop are a few minutes walk away. Centrally located and perfect to retreat into a real home from home, after exciting outings to St. Ives, Falmouth, Land's End, Penzancewe. We where not looking forward to leaving.
Would highly recommend and would love to come back.
Thanks for a great stay!
“Perfect holiday cottage” Bryony Cottage is the perfect holiday cottage in a perfect location - surrounded by beautiful countryside yet only a few minutes drive away from Falmouth, the best town in Cornwall. The cottage is light and airy with large windows yet warm and cosy with a wood burner and free logs. You can lay in bed and watch the rabbits outside the window and the owners kindly allow you the freedom to walk across their fields where there are far reaching views.
“Perfect Cornish Cottage” We had a lovely stay at Ancarva Cottage, it has everything we needed for our stay, location is ideal and owners are very friendly and
helpful. There is a lovely secret garden, ideal for warm days.
Would definitly stay again.
“What a fiantastic fnd” What a fantastic find. Beautifully decorated and maintained everything you need and want for a short stay. Lovely little touches to make you welcome wine in fridge!! always a good start milk, biscuits, fruit, cleaning products, beach towels, anything you needed or wanted had been thought of. Highly recommend this little gem of a place but must say it is a steep climb from the town and not for the faint hearted but well worth the effort.
“Secluded relaxation in a beautiful setting” We came back for a second helping after last years introduction to Treetopos and were not disappointed in this secret retreat. It combines privacy, loads of garden space that would suit kids with energy to burn and a sense of 'Swallows and Amazons' and of course a tremendous view down to Port Navas Creek (try stepping outside with a cup of tea on a sunny morning and not feel that all is right with the as you gaze at the vista).
The house has period character, is well maintained and freshly decorated and easily becomes a cozy lodge if the weather is foul (woodburner with plentiful logs supplied).
If you have or have considered getting a kayak then bring it with you to get the benefit of the the other hidden secret of this location, the view form the water.
The small, down to earth and friendly Port Navas Yacht Club (visitors welcome) is well worth a visit for 'sundowners' and beyond and only a short walk away.
“A unique and delightful property in a lovely location - wonderful.”

“Peaceful and private, a real home from home!” A lovely bungalow with a separate apartment which really suited the grandparents, allowing them to retire early and rise first without disturbing any one else.
Goongillings is located in a beautiful setting with plenty of outdoor space, it even has it's own private jetty a short walk away over the fields! The location is an ideal base for touring the Lizard and the rest of Cornwall.
The house was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed, but we really loved the baby grand piano!
We will definitely return!
“Luxury home from home” No 16 more than lived up to our expectations, it was immaculately clean and very well equipped, with some lovely added extras by the owners on our arrival. The house is situated 20 minutes walk from Swanpool beach and Falmouth town centre, add a few minutes to this on the walk home as it is up hill. The house has plenty of off street parking and secluded gardens. The lack of wardrobe space in some rooms, and the busy main road at the front of the house are the only negatives. We would definitely stay here again - we not only loved the house but Falmouth too. We found the owners very helpful, friendly and approachable - a lovely holiday!
We were really impressed with the house itself. It had been recently refurbished and was beautifully decorated and very comfortable creating a real home from home feel. We were 8 adults and 3 children… More

“Fabulous flushing” This is the seond year we have stayed in the Green House and we love it even more. Excellent accommodation and the owner stuart has thought of everything. Top class luxury. Our dog teddy was also welcome. Friendly village and excellent pubs.
“5Star Cottage” The cottage is very stylish and cosy, it could be an example of a 'country living' journal. Very modern kitchen and bathroom, very well equiped. It is perfectly situated on the countryside with no neighbours except a horse and a monkey which like to be fed with apples and carrots.
We can recommend this cottage very much and compliments to July and Alan who could keep this high standard over the last years.
We are looking forward to return - like many other guests who have been there for many times.
“Fantastic accommodation” Stopped at Carvinack for three nights. Couldn't fault it, very clean and very comfortable. Every possible thing thought of from kitchen utensils and tableware to hi fi system and dvds. Very useful to have downstairs shower with toilet and also an en suite upstairs. I would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely home from home and will most certainly stay again when next in Falmouth.
“'Lovely Annex'” 5 star accommodation, spacious, clean and bright. Home from home, all you need is on hand and more. We took our dog , a lovely enclosed courtyard a nice surprise. Mawnan smith is a lovely village, great pub walking distance. Ideal base for visiting daughter at Falmouth uni. Steve was very helpful, thanks, we will return.
“A Perfect Holiday - a beautiful annex, garden and weather” We really did have a perfect holiday. The accommodation was just lovely - everything we could wish for and more - very clean and in a beautiful location. Kathy is so friendly and helpful she made us feel very welcome. We were pleasantly surprised by all the thoughtful "extras" e.g milk, eggs, bread, wine, marmalade, biscuits, shower gel, body lotion and the large fluffy towels the list goes on ... We loved everything about it and will definitely be returning. We also loved that we could walk to the pub (Red Lion - where we had two lovely meals), the village shop and the wooded walk to the beach along the public footpath by Carwinnion. On our last morning we had a lovely cooked breakfast in the cafe in the square (all the above are dog friendly but obviously not the shop - (although they did supply Lily with doggie treats! ) - all in all just perfect.
