“Excellent”

Reviewed 21 Apr 2018

Ideally situated with short walk to shops and pub yet in a quiet position. Very comfortable and well equipped, we had all we needed for a relaxing stay. Lovely new bathroom and everywhere spotlessly clean. Outlook from living room onto pretty garden. Parking was generous and well off road. Kathy was a friendly host and we hope to visit again.

“Beautifully Presented Annex”

Reviewed 17 Oct 2017

Mawnan Smith is a lovely village with several amenities including a small supermarket, thatched pub and a restaurant etc. Owner Kathy had prepared the annex with great care, and everything one could possibly need was readily available. The welcome pack was very generous: fresh flowers in the room, milk, water, wine, eggs, bread, butter, etc etc. Kathy is a lovely lady and helped to make our stay very relaxing and enjoyable.

Owner's reply: Thank you so much Janet and Chris for your kind words , so glad you enjoyed your stay .regards Kathy

“A Perfect Holiday - a beautiful annex, garden and weather”

Reviewed 30 Jun 2017

We really did have a perfect holiday. The accommodation was just lovely - everything we could wish for and more - very clean and in a beautiful location. Kathy is so friendly and helpful she made us feel very welcome. We were pleasantly surprised by all the thoughtful "extras" e.g milk, eggs, bread, wine, marmalade, biscuits, shower gel, body lotion and the large fluffy towels the list goes on ... We loved everything about it and will definitely be returning. We also loved that we could walk to the pub (Red Lion - where we had two lovely meals), the village shop and the wooded walk to the beach along the public footpath by Carwinnion. On our last morning we had a lovely cooked breakfast in the cafe in the square (all the above are dog friendly but obviously not the shop - (although they did supply Lily with doggie treats! ) - all in all just perfect.

Owner's reply: Thanks Sue Tony and Lilly the dog , it was a pleasure having you in the Annex , I do hope you will return sometime in the future and bring the lovely sunshine with you .Regards Kathy

“Wonderful welcome, wonderful cottage, wonderful place to stay.”

Reviewed 14 May 2017

The location is excellent with quick access to the coast path, beaches and footpaths. Good beer and food at the local pub and only 20 minutes by car from Falmouth. The cottage was clean, well looked after and very comfortable. The bottle of wine, loaf etc was very welcome. There is a splendid garden and being able to get out throught the french windows and enjoy a drink after a long walk was very good. Kathleen was very welcoming and concerned that I enjoyed myself. I would happily come back again

Owner's reply: Thank you Chris for a lovely review , it was a pleasure having you to stay , we hope to see you again . Regards Kathy
