“Very welcoming, child-friendly home. Perfect for family beach holiday.” A lovely house to stay in, felt as if we were welcomed into someones home and not just a house to rent. It's the little touches like ornaments and picture frames that give it a charm, and the children especially liked the towels with blue dolphins for the boys and yellow ducks for the girl! The kitchen has everything you could need and the washer/dryer is very useful for getting beach clothes washed and dried ready for the next morning. Fantastic amount of books, toys and videos for the children and plenty of space to run about outside in a completely enclosed garden. There is a playground and Tesco store within walking distance and the Strand beach is only 5-10 minutes drive away so location is perfect for a holiday with children. We really enjoyed our stay here, so much so that on the drive home our 4 year old asked if we could come back next week!

“Home from Home” Home from home you could not fault this lovely bungalow clean,tidy,every little thing you might need it had (wine bottle opener). Quite garden kept tidy 5mins walk to see the coastline. Lovely and the owner Billy was so helpful and would ring a few days into stay to make sure everything Was ok. If you book you will not be disappointed. Thank you.

“Amazing Week!” Absolute gem. Just back from our second visit to Castleshaw and yet again it didn't disappoint. The house itself is set in a very quiet cul-de-sac and is within walking distance to Castlerock town where there is a great bakery and the most amazing cafe (Crusoes). On arrival we couldn't have been greeted any better and Edward very kindly took us through the house and explained everything in detail and let us know anything that needed to be known. He also kindly gave us a few recommendations on where to go for good food and good sights. It is the perfect place to base yourself if you are looking to explore the North Coast or Donegal. Would thoroughly recommend this cottage to anyone!!!!
