Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Great holiday home!” Had a fantastic week in this lovely house. Was very light and spacious and very clean.
We had all the space we needed and a lovely enclosed garden for our dog and our children to play in.
Location was really good, just a five minutes walk onto the promenade and a really peaceful setting.
Mary Lou was very helpful when we couldn’t get the oven to work. Only slight downside would be that the fridge isn’t overly cold - our milk seemed to go off rather quickly and our drinks needed to be put in the freezer for a few minutes before cold enough to drink, even though the fridge was as cold as it could go.
Plenty of fridge and freezer space for food!
There was plenty of plates/pans and cooking utensils available and some lovely wine glasses!
If you are staying at a colder time there is a lovely fire available, although we didn’t need to use this. The heating worked really well and there was hand sanitiser by the door and detail wipes in the kitchen.
There is off road parking available but we chose to park our two cars at the front of the house and never had a problem getting a parking space even in the height of summer.
We really did have everything we needed and a lovely family holiday. I would highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!!
Would definitely stay again.
Thank you Mary Lou
“Amazing Week!” Absolute gem. Just back from our second visit to Castleshaw and yet again it didn't disappoint. The house itself is set in a very quiet cul-de-sac and is within walking distance to Castlerock town where there is a great bakery and the most amazing cafe (Crusoes).
On arrival we couldn't have been greeted any better and Edward very kindly took us through the house and explained everything in detail and let us know anything that needed to be known. He also kindly gave us a few recommendations on where to go for good food and good sights.
It is the perfect place to base yourself if you are looking to explore the North Coast or Donegal. Would thoroughly recommend this cottage to anyone!!!!
