“lovely break, home form home” Had a lovely stay in this beautiful home form home in the Lake Distict. Plenty of room for 6 of us in this well equiped, very clean and tastfully styled holiday cottage, in a great location. Would recomend to groups of friends and families. Will be back !!!

“Ideal for Us” We stayed at Ashgill for 3 days following the Easter break. The cottage is as described and well cared for. A nice bottle of wine and welcome card was much appreciated.The cottage was larger than expected and very clean with comfy beds. Very close to the Wilson Arms and the Church House Inn both of which were very welcoming and excellent food. Just 5 minutes in to Coniston and i recommend Saras Indian restaurant which does eat in and take away. As a rental home owner myself(Florida) i can say that Bev and Paul have hit the nail on the head!

“Luxurious home from home in amazing surroundings” Well what can i say about Coal Yeat? Amazing, fabulous, luxurious..... the list goes on. From advice to booking and staying Emma was a tremendous help and was very friendly, even allowing us to check in early on the day. The cottage is set in the most tranquil area with nothing but green fields and animals to gaze upon, it was so peaceful and relaxing, at night you could have heard a pin drop. On arrival we were greeted with homemade ginger bread, fresh bread and a bottle of wine, such personal touches, and the cottage itself has everything you could need plus is very tastefully decorated. My son(8) loved the pigs outside and Emmas dog and we had some pleasant walks through the neighboring fields. I don't think anything could have been added to our long weekend, i just wished we could have stayed longer!

“lovely cottage” A great homely cottage set in beautiful countryside. The interior was tastefully decorated and was of a high standard. Upon entering the property we were blown away with a welcome pack which included fresh baked bread and homemade cakes. Superb!! I would definitely recommend this to a friend and would go and stay there again. The location was ideal for nearby Coniston and Ulverston. Keep up the good work Emma.
