“Comfortable October stay.” Just came home from a week at the barns. We booked on a budget so wasn’t expecting much. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised with the barn. It was very clean and cosy and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The barn is a little damp and dated but we knew this from pictures and this didn’t put us off. There was everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable and as it was cold while we were there it was lovely to have the log burner. The shower was powerful which was a god send after all the rain we had and having 3 soggy children at the end of the days to clean off. The storage heater in the living room didn’t work but again this wasn’t an issue as there was a fan heater supplied and I also brought us all blankets. The barn is so well situated for all the places we had planned on visiting. We would love to return in the future and we would definitely recommend to all. Thank you to the owner, this week is everything our family needed for a relaxing week together before lockdown.

“Fantastic value for money, spotless, very spacious, quiet, close to shop/pub, lovely welcome, Book it!!” Just arrived home from a 4 night stay. On arrival we had a load of goodies, bread, milk, butter, jam and biscuits with lovely flowers on the table. Excellent quality towels and bed lined were provided. There was a washing machine and airer which came in handy for little one's clothes. I don't know why but from the pictures I thought that the bedroom was adjoined to the living area, but after arriving I was really pleased to find that there was a utility room, housing the fridge and washing machine separating the living accommodation. I was a bit worried about having our 7 month old daughter sharing our room and us having to walk through to use the bathroom, or sneak about because it was adjoined. But this really was not the case, because of the size of the living area as well as two doors separating us from the bedroom we were able to have the TV on a reasonable volume and use the bathroom without disturbing her. We walked less than 5 minutes to one of the local pubs (there are two) on the first night which started serving food at 6pm. There is also a local shop selling essentials which is just around the corner from the pub. The accommodation is ideally suited for visiting South Devon and North Cornwall and is only 2 minutes by car to Bude. We really thought the accommodation was excellent value for money, it was spotless, very spacious, close to amenities and the owners made us feel very welcome.

“A little piece of heaven” What a find! As soon as we walked through the door we knew that we had found somewhere special. The accommodation was fantastic, in a great location just a few minutes drive from the beach and Bude’s lively town centre. Everything in the accommodation was excellent with all you could want for a perfect holiday. Helen and Andy (the owners) were very helpful and ensured that the property was COVID-19 compliant which made us feel very safe. We loved it and will definitely be booking again.

“Beautiful house in a perfect location” This house has it all! From 3 bathrooms, kitchen with everything to the most comfortable super king bed in the master bedroom. Nice extra touches also like scones & wine on arrival, baby equipment, lots of games, beach towels etc. House is very close to the beach & although it doesn't have a each view, it's still a great location. Had a fabulous stay at Stay.
