“Great house in a great location” We’ve just returned from a stay at Lowfold. Sarah was very accommodating and helpful in the run up to our stay and Yvette was equally helpful whilst we were there. The house is very comfortable and we felt ‘at home’. The views from the house are amazing - we slept with the curtains open so we could wake up to the views across the fields and down the Esthwaite water. The house is equally well located for the play park, tower bank arms, trout fishery cafe, hill top and walks to moss Eccles tarn - all of which we enjoyed. We are already looking forward to our return next year!

“Amazing” Wonderful spacious cottage, which was spotlessly clean. A stone’s throw away from Ambleside, a great location for the start of many walks. Stunning views from the back of the cottage and a resident deer who visited the garden on a daily basis! Wonderful stay, we shall be back. Thank you.

“Beautiful apartment in an ideal location” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment which is very cosy and well equipped. We loved the newly refurbished bathroom and the heated floor was very luxurious. All the main facilities in Ambleside are just a short walk away (albeit down a sharp gradient). Although we were visiting outside of the main season there were still plenty of good restaurants open with a good atmosphere.
