“Wonderful family holiday in perfect location!” Pudding Cottage near ambleside, and just across the road from the Lake District Visitor's Centre, is absolutely beautiful and is perfect for 6 guests- we went with our two young children and Grandparents too. It is cosy and pretty and smart. The owner is friendly and helpful. You could stay in the beautiful ambleside area for a whole week with plenty of fantastic places to visit and walks for all abilities. It is also possible to venture further afield very easily. We explored lots of NT properties and had a beautiful boat trip too. The membership for the Spa and pool at the Hotel just 5 minutes away is great and family friendly but elegant too.
