Good idea on map I will do, I usually do provide directions and you have to be wary of older sat navs on some of the narrowest roads in Cornwall. Hope you consider another family holiday at DH. Dave

Exactly as we do, no need to leave the lovely charms of Port Isaac once there, unless you choose to walk to the metropolis of Port Gaverne!

"A great house for family holiday in a great location"
We stayed for a week at the end of August 13 with 6 adults and 4 young children, A great time was had by all. Situated in the town centre with access to the harbour, good restaurants a fresh fish mark… More
Thank you do much, its really fab when new friends / clients enjoy Port Isaac and particularly Dolphin House as much as we do. Great point about us tall folk and the fish cellars for great fresh fish pulled out of the sea often right by the cellars from local boats that still work the harbour as they have for centuries. Perhaps id replace Town Centre for Village Centre, but I appreciate your excellent comments. Thanks again, hope you return next year, I think our most regular family have been renting now for ten years or so, they replaced a family who have now moved to the Outer Hebrideas and were continuous renters for about 14 years. We spent a wonderful week here with our kids.The location is fantastic with the harbour (and pub) a literal stone's throw away. The house itself is very spacious for such a tightly packed village… More

thanks for the comments on the house, everyone thinks it is so comfy I pleased to say. I always advise guests to drop the sat nav once you enter Por Isaac or Port Gaverne as otherwise some SatNavs take you down roads that become a few feet wide.

im liking holidaylettings and the feed back which we have had almost 100% positive over the years, but its been confined to the guest's book in the dining room so not for public viewing. We have many regular visitors, indeed one couple travelled from the North East for 9 years on the trot until they moved to The Highlands - often quoted by another regular family is their need for the "Annual Dolphin House fix"!

"A lovely property full of character in the heart of a charming village."
This is the nicest holiday lets we have stayed in, The house was lovely and clean and had everything you need for your stay. It is in a fantastic location in the heart of the village with plenty of places to eat/drink within walking distance. Our 8 year old happily entertained himself in the garden and loved looking for things in the rock pools that appear when the tide is out. The location is ideal for exploring all of Cornwall. During our stay we did have a small plumbing problem, but this was quickly rectified by the lovely lady who looks after the property for the owner and it did not impact on our holiday. We would highly recommend to all.
