Sail Loft is situated in a quiet location, next to St Fimbarrus Church, yet is only a minutes walk from the fabulous shops, restaurants, bars/pubs & bustling quay. Fowey is renowned for its sailing & water activities, coastal walks, quaint streets and shops in which you could easily while away the hours. The beaches of Whitehouse and Readymoney are all within walking distance. Throughout the year there are a number of festivals and events which bring both locals and holiday makers together, from the popular festival of words and music each May, the Beer & Mussel festival in June, the famous Fowey Regatta, which runs for a week during August ... with the incredible Red Arrows putting in an appearance! For the more energetic, there is the Fowey Triathlon held in September, and to put you in the Christmas spirit there is a Christmas market at the end of the year! Theres always something to do and see, whatever time of year you choose to visit this beautiful part of Cornwall.

Sail Loft is centrally heated throughout. The bedrooms are newly carpeted, with solid maple wood flooring to the kitchen and lounge/dining room. A high-chair and travel cot (linen not supplied) are also available. Internet Wi-Fi access.
Bed linen, towels and tea towels are included, all of which are changed weekly, the property is cleaned every Friday.
Please note: Sail Loft is a non smoking property. You can load/unload in the designated area outside St Fimbarrus. Church, Sail Loft is then a very short walk away.
Unfortunately the property is not suitable for people with limited mobility. Access to The Sail Loft is via a flight of steps, children, therefore, should be supervised in this area, at all times.
The property is accessed via a gated, small gravelled area with table & two chairs, where you can enjoy a glass of wine or an early morning coffee! Steps then lead to the stable door of the Sail Loft.
The nearest Golf courses are at Lostwithiel, Carlyon Bay and Porthpean.
The beaches of Whitehouse and Readymoney Cove are within walking distance and provide safe bathing. Fowey is located on the coastal footpath and The Saints Way.
The popular Eden Project is approx. 6 miles away, whilst the Lost Gardens of Heligan are approx. 10 miles away. The Georgian port of Charlestown, with its Square Rig ships (used in the film Hornblower!) is 7 miles away.
You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to 'things to do in Fowey!' The Estuary itself provides hours of fun - whether you choose to sit and watch the water based activities, or jump aboard and take part, the choice is yours. The passenger ferry enables you to cross the Estuary to Polruan. There are walks with breathtaking views, coves to explore, galleries, shops crammed with 'beautiful things', pubs, bars, excellent cafes and restaurants. Kittows Family Butcher & Deli, which is moments walk away from Sail Loft, sell a wide range of local produce, including cheeses, cooked meats, fruit & veg, fresh breads & other home-made delicious delicacies! Time spent in Cornwall wouldn't be complete without a pasty, a cream tea ... and then theres the fudge ... it would be rude not to!!
Our changeover day is usually Friday, but out of season, please enquire as it might be possible to be flexible.
The Loft is available from 3pm on the day of arrival, and should be vacated by 10am on day of departure.
Prices include electricity, gas, internet access, towels and bedlinen.
Beach towels are not provided.
