“Relaxing stay” This was our 3rd stay at this lovely pet friendly caravan. Set in a quiet location. The caravan is very well equipped and clean and the outside area is well fenced and secure. The walks are plentyfull, we walked up to the top of Fremington Edge a bit of a climb but well worth it the views are magnificent from the top. Also i can recommend the walk from Surrender Bridge (situated about 5 miles from Reeth) to the Old Gang Mines a 6 mile hike but easy walking well worth a visit. Richmond is a beautiful market town and worth a visit. Already planning our next trip. Thankyou Margaret

“Mr” We stayed at OCB for a long weekend over half term for our annual family get together. What a fantastic property in an amazing rural setting! Lots to see and do in the surrounding area such as Bolton Castle and the Wensleydale Cheese Factory. Alternatively we could just chill in the property in front of the log burning stove. The owner, Maureen, was ultra helpful both prior to and during our stay and was always available for questions and tips. The welcome pack was a lovely touch too. We are already looking to book again for next year.

“Memorable two weeks.” The cottage was an ideal location for many walks in the fantasticYorkshire countryside. There were superb views from the cottage which had a lovely garden and picnic table. We chose to stay at this cottage as our daughter was getting married at the Priory Church at Bolton abbey on the middle Saturday and we were able to combined a wonderful holiday with this very happy occasion.

Moughton Cottage
Great location

Beautiful cottage in a lovely village. Austwick is a great base for walking and a short drive from Ingleborough Caves and Ingleton Waterfalls. Cottage is well looked after with everything you would need for your stay. Private parking and a beautiful garden. Good local pub but book in advance as it gets busy. Make sure you try the bakery attached to the pub as the cakes are delicious.see more
CUBBLE HEAD, a beautiful 18th c. cottage with panoramic views
Beautiful house in a stunning location

What a relaxing week we've just had. Our first holiday in the Yorkshire Dales and we loved it. We went walking every day and really enjoyed exploring the local area. Cubble Head is full of character. The owners were kind and helpful when we arrived and provided a small hamper, and fresh flowers in the house. Facilities were good, and the location is awesome.see more
Scott Cottage, Hawes, Yorkshire Dales
Very good

Cosy cottage in quiet location in the centre of Hawes, warm and comfortable especially the bed. Parking wasn’t a problem. Recommend as a great base for walking and exploring a beautiful part of the Dales. Did walks mainly from the house, visited the museum and the Creamery for a demonstration of cheesemaking, both interesting. Keen to discover other Dales now.see more
Cosy 2-Bed Cottage in Ingleton North Yorkshi
Didn't want to leave!

We had the best New Year break for a long time, the Cottage was genuinely a home from home, it was spotlessly clean, cosy and had everything you needed. The furnishings, bedding etc very high quality and comfortable beds, we loved the fireplace and also the shower! We have two adult children who came and went and also a Labrador with us we had plenty of room and the sun room attached to the kitchen worked really well as did the hallway to store all the muddy boots. We met family who were staying in the neighbouring village and had a lovely meal at the Masons pub, we also enjoyed the bars in the village and the band playing in the Wheatchaff pub on NYE. Ingleton is such a pretty village and everyone is so friendly, we particularly enjoyed nearby Clapham village again very traditional at Xmas and the walk to the lake and cave. Ingleborough fell is on the doorstep which was great for my fell running husband and son who also ran up Whernside. The other main sights were Ribble viaduct and Ingleton Falls which we went to years ago before the National Trust started to charge in my opinion far too much for families although worth visiting if you haven't been before. We would definitely book again for the Summer and also for next New Year if we can stay for longer! Thank you so much Anne and Bill.see more

Absolutely amazing

Such a magical house in a beautiful and unique place. We stayed for 5 days, it was so relaxing. Amazing walks right on the doorstep. Very friendly host. Highly recommended. … see more
The Granary (Sleeps 8) - Carperby
Really homely accommodation for a family with a dog (or two)

The Granary is in a beautiful location and provides a very comfortable environment. It is extremely well equipped with a comprehensive range of cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery (the only thing we found absent was a knife sharpener) and more than adequately furnished. It's the kind of place it would be nice to live in. The night storage heaters in some of the rooms took a bit of getting used to, and the (downstairs) shower took a while to run hot first thing in the morning, but I've stayed in plenty of worse places. It's a pity that the windows are so small, but I guess a lot of that is to do with the planning and conservation authorities. It was also very nice to have easy access to the large area to the adjacent tof the building which was grass and old trees which naturally attracted a large number of birds. It was nice to just sit there and relax. And on top of all that, Carperby is a lovely little Dales village with a superb pub; and long may it remain so.see more
