Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Memorable two weeks.” The cottage was an ideal location for many walks in the fantasticYorkshire countryside. There were superb views from the cottage which had a lovely garden and picnic table. We chose to stay at this cottage as our daughter was getting married at the Priory Church at Bolton abbey on the middle Saturday and we were able to combined a wonderful holiday with this very happy occasion.
“Wet but wonderful week” The cottage was great - really nicely furnished with everything we needed - and in a great location. The kids loved taking the dog down to the river and walking in to the village to go the sweetshop (just like childhood should be). We could walk for miles from the house (found a great book on the internet 'Yorkshire Dale Pub in the middle circular walks) and found great places for lunch. It rained heavily every day but we had a super time. Only disadvantage was the garden is not enclosed and the house is next to wuite a busy road but the house and location make up for this and we just made sure the dog was controlled.
“A great place to stay. Just go there!” It's more than a year now since we stayed in Langcliffe near Settle. Memories spring to mind very quick however. A beautiful property in beautiful natural surroundings. Very highly recommended for a stay in the South Dales
