“Spacious and comfortable so highly suitable for a family gathering” The house is lovely, spotlessly clean, spacious, warm, with well equipped kitchen, and pleasant garden Situated on quiet lane just off main square so ideal for all the amenities of Grassington.
We have no hesitation in recommending Ellesmere.
“Stunning cottage in a perfect location” We booked the cottage at the last minute and it certainly didn't disappoint. The central location in ingleton was ideal for the Waterfall walks and the caves. The added bonus was a heated outdoor pool for the village. The standard of the cottage was 10/10 with everything you could need for a holiday. Because we had super weather we didn't use the games room, however if the weather isn't at it's best, you certainly wouldn't be short of things to do. There's also an indoor climbing wall in the village, numerous pubs and tea rooms and a small supermarket. We shall certainly be back! Thank you for making us welcome.
“Exceptional” The location of Sunnybeck Cottage was ideal for us as we were visiting family in Giggleswick. Carol was very welcoming and the cottage was beautifully laid out with all the comforts of home.
“Lovely venue for an amazing stag do.” Situated in an ideal location for all our stag activities. The venue itself was spacious and had everything we needed. The standards of Hazel Brow were exceptional and the photos on the website don't do it justice. The BBQ area was lovely and the weather held out for us to have a great evening outside. Catherine, the owner was helpful and asked if there was anything we required at all, just to ask.
“Relaxing stay” This was our 3rd stay at this lovely pet friendly caravan. Set in a quiet location. The caravan is very well equipped and clean and the outside area is well fenced and secure.
The walks are plentyfull, we walked up to the top of Fremington Edge a bit of a climb but well worth it the views are magnificent from the top.
Also i can recommend the walk from Surrender Bridge (situated about 5 miles from Reeth) to the Old Gang Mines a 6 mile hike but easy walking well worth a visit.
Richmond is a beautiful market town and worth a visit.
Already planning our next trip.
“Peaceful and homely” This compact small cottage with natural garden and sunny patio was a delight. Comfortable and thoughtful touches everywhere. There was a cafetière, so often missing, which may seem simple but it was home from home for me.
I heard the first cuckoo I have heard in ages. The sitting room streaming with sunshine in those afternoons one returns from a walk and just wants to read. Enough fuel supplied for rainy evenings. A lemony homebaked cake and REAL milk. What a lovely touch. With a glorious view from many windows.
Yes a beautiful spot, with two great pubs within walking distance.
I'm booking now for next year, so that's a clue.
“Dales secret gem” Beautiful apartment ,clean and well maintained . So well equipped and comfortable I could have stayed a week . Coffee machine which was a winner for me as I’m a little bit of a coffee addict . I wouldn’t hesitate booking again into this wonderful place. Great directions ,little arrival basket left . Couldn’t recommend highly enough
