Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Great family holiday in a lovely and ideally situated cottage!” A really comfortable and well situated cottage, in Windmill close to Padstow. Great for coastal walks and a good base for travelling to tourist spots! We had a very relaxing week in the sun and would definitely recommend this well equipt and well kept cottage for rental. Only bugbear was the tight approach to the property from the street (could be difficult with big cars) but small price to pay for a great stay.
“Wonderful well equipped luxury home” A beautiful holiday home finished to very standards. Plenty of space for 10 people and properly equipped - at least 10 of everything that was needed.
Beds and pillows are comfortable with good quality bed linen. 4 bathrooms plus a downstairs cloakroom - top of the range showers and constant hot water.
There are 2 big flat screen home cinema systems with all the channels a real bonus if you have teenagers. Also wi fi which meant those who needed could check on work. My elderly father in law also loved being able to watch the Test match live on Sky as he doesn't have it at home.
There was a good range of books and board games to suit all ages.
The house is private but not isolated - the lovely beach at Trevonne is a couple of minutes walk away and there is a great farm shop across the road.
I can honestly say that there wasn't one thing I needed or thought of or looked for in a drawer that wasn't there. I can thoroughly recommend this lovely house.
“Wonderful family holiday home” This property is perfect for a family as its position is absolutely ideal for a beach holiday. It is extremely clean and well equipped. The outdoor shower is brilliant for coming off the beach. Nigel the owner made us very welcome and encouraged us to contact him if there were any queries. Certainly can recommend this property.
“Perfect for a relaxing holiday” Great location and lovely accommodation for us (two adults and 2 teenage girls), everything we needed (clean, comfy, quiet and private), the girls loved the room upstairs (their own mini chill area). We walked to Padstow on coastal path but although lots of places to visit close by we enjoyed the time on the beach in Trevone Bay and Harlyn Bay, body boarded and hired paddle boards in Harlyn Bay. Enjoyed the Tevone Bay Adventure 3 hour kayaking trip with a bit of coasteering and cave exploring included - the guide Sam was great - showed us the wildlife and we even spotted a seal! So much more we could have explored - excellent base - we all said we would come back. Thank you Fleur.
