“Excellent Stay” We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this beautiful cottage, everything was like home from home, the children thoroughly enjoyed their stay and the weather was good which made it even more enjoyable. Lovely part of Wales, fantastic views from the cottage, would definitely return.

“Brilliant cottage” A great cosy cottage in a fantastic location. Countless walks from the front door, including Moel Siabod (you're already part way up!) and the Glyderau. The cottage itself is and very well presented and equipped. I had no need to contact the owners as everything I needed was there and they had done a great job in making it welcoming and ready for a stay.

Well equiped cosy cottage ideal for family of four. Children loved the bunk beds. In a lovely setting. Great location for visiting nearby attractions - Slate mine, Portmeirion, Mt Snowdon, Porthmadog beach to name a few. Wi-fi available. Had a fantastic time and superb weather. Thank you.

“Excellent” It was our first time staying in a cabin like this, we just wanted to spend some time as a family and thought this was the place. The cabin was located in a very nice quiet place it had everything we needed, it was very warm and cozy. We went out for walks, we especially enjoyed night walks underneath the stars where we don’t get a lot of them back in London City life. The weather was better than we expected, we saw a bit of snow, it got a little frosty for couple of days but it didn’t bother us and it was rain and usual cold weather. We visited various places like the Sygun copper mine, Zip world Bounce caverns, Beddgelert, Gelert’s grave, Harlech castle and beach, we also had a journey of 2 hours and visited Liverpool # it was worth it #. We had a great week, we will definitely go back again.

“Hauntingly Beautiful” My wife Sammi and I love places that have history, Tal y Llyn Chapel oozes it. Peter has lovingly restored the chapel with great care not to destroy the true beauty of such an historic building. He was very informative and helpful but also gave us the time and space to explore this wonderful area. I will be definitely be returning.

“Stunning views” First of all the location is stunning. The views from our kitchen window and sitting room were breathtaking. Lots of things to do around, very peaceful and quiet. The kitchen has everything you could wish for from utensils to crockery, cleaning products, kitchen towels, bin bags and anything you could think of. There is a working washing machine and tumble drier which came very useful, in an unfortunate way. There are 2 tv's one in the sitting room one in the main bedroom with freeview. Lots of games available and an old console and dvd reader as well. Now, the bad part.It was only one: cleanliness. The lodge was far from clean and had to go around with disinfectant wipes and the hoover as it seems that no effort was done to clean after the last guests. There were rests and breadcrumbs on teh kitchen table I assume after previous breakfast/lunch. I have called before leaving one of the owners to ask about bed linen and he has been the most useful and friendly chap over the phone. However, when we got there, the bed linens have been slept and have not been changed. It was obvious as marks on the bed as well as hairs were laying on the beds and pillows. Had to strip bare the beds, wash them and dry them.Bed protector was badly stained. Don t know what we would have done have we not had a washing machine and a drier. If we would have known about this we would still have come but would have been prepared with our own bed linings. But we didn't which was disappointing. I assume that the owners don't really know about the extend to which the lodge is cleaned and should have a word with the cleaning company as this is a big let down considering the place they have there, which is stunning. All in all it was a wonderful break, thank you Mark and Craig!

“Bliss” Great, not so little, Welsh cottage. Seven of us booked in for four nights, had a great time. Cozy cottage vibe, but enough room so that it never felt cramped. Everything you could want for a relaxing getaway, no TV policy was the icing on the cake, perfect. Stunning views of Snowdonia & Dolwyddelan Castle was well worth a visit even though interior is still closed to public. Trains are within easy walking distance, but be warned go on first train as last trains back in either direction, are afternoon rather than evening. Village pub is handy for a pint, good selection reasonable prices, but sadly not serving food anymore.

“Fabulous Cottage” We stayed at Abbey End for Christmas it was perfect. Rob and Brian have created a welcoming cottage with no detail missed and will go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The cottage has everything you could possibly want it is spacious There were 5 of us in our party and we had our dogs with us we all had plenty of space. The kitchen is fully equipped. The cottage although being spacious still have the warm cosy feeling when we walked in the Christmas tree was perfect along with all of the decorations. I cannot recommend this cottage enough you will not be disappointed if you book.
