So cosy, stunning location.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in March. It snowed while we were there and we found ourselves staranded in the cottage, however this only made our stay more special. Because of its stunning location we still managed to walk to the base of moel siabod passing a beautiful lake on the way seeing some beautiful views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Elwyn the owner saved the day by delivering some well received mulled wine which went down well after a few hours walking. The cottage is well equipped with lovely underfloor heating and wood burner to keep you toasty when it’s -6 outside. This house is amazing & very conveniently located. Restaurants/pubs & hiking are within walkable distance. We were a party of 11 & it slept all of us very comfortablely. John was a wonderful host. Exceeded expectations

Really lovely setting - private and peaceful. Well provided and maintained. For a quick trip away it was everything that was needed. Can't go wrong waking up to woodpeckers feeding outside the window. I appreciated the unintrusive contact from the owner - enough to make you feel there is someone there, but not to make you feel impinged upon. We didn't brave the tiny shower (didn't expect more space from a caravan!), but at least the option was there! The wine, chocolate and supplies of tea/coffee/water were all appreciated. … see more
