“In a Valley, not that far away” If it were up to me, all recommendations would be judged on the view from the establishments window. If I told you that this particular view, over a small babbling river, down a Valley toward Betws-y-coed was so very beautiful that I'd have been happy looking out of said window all day, that might give you a clue as to how lovely an experience it was to stay at Glanrhyd. The abode itself sits not far off the main road between Betws and Conwy (So it's brilliantly located if you can muster the energy to step outside) but you wouldn't notice a main road at all as the location is so private . The idyllic cottage is really well appointed and beautifully kept, with a few mod cons to complement the lovely older features that you'd associate (and desire) from a Welsh cottage. Every effort has been taken to make sure that you want for nothing and even the small things like, towels are high quality and suggest alot of thought has gone into preparing for your stay. My family and I had a lovely time - taking advantage of short walks into Betws for provisions, and the nearby Tree tops adventure for adrenaline fuelled kicks. There are plenty of hostelries nearby to quench a thirst or feed a growling stomach. If you do visit, I'm sure that you'll have a great time - whether you decide to stop inside or enjoy the great outdoors.
“Family Celebration” Abbey End is a lovely place to stay. Ideal for families. Very comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. Great location for sightseeing and Zip World. Parking and access wasn’t easy if there are several vehicles. Garden / back area had uneven surfaces, however, the seating area was delightful especially with the stream, which our spaniel loved. Dog safe area. Owners are very welcoming.

“Great stay” This was a beautiful cottage in a stunning location. We don’t usually stay in the same place twice but all agreed we’d happily stay here again. Highlights were the log burner (which we used every evening) and comfy beds and the cottage had everything we needed. Location was great and we didn’t need to venture far from the local area all holiday. Thank you.

“A perfect hideaway in the hills” I have just returned from a fantastic weekend in North Wales at Bron Nant. I have never stayed in a cosier or better equippped holiday cottage. Arriving in the dark on a Friday night in winter ahead of my group of friends, I encountered such a cosy warm house, it was an absolute joy. The owners had even gone to the trouble of leaving fresh flowers on the table and freshly baked cookies for each of us! The house has everything you could ever need for a holiday and my only sadness was that it wasn't warm enough (in February) to use the swingseats outside, or the natural pool! The house was warm, there was plenty of hot water and everything was spotlessly clean. Since it has been renovated by a carpenter it is full of wood and feels like a luxurious log cabin. The living room has an enormous woodburning stove and enough sofa and chairs to seat everyone comfortably. The owners couldn't have been more helpful or friendly and there is plenty to do in the area. I would wholeheartedly recommend Bron Nant and really hope to return, for long next time.

“Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location!” What an absolutely fantastic place. We stayed in November so not a typical time of year maybe for a cottage holiday in Wales but it was absolutely fantastic. We couldn't ask for more. The cottage has been converted beautifully with all the amenities that we wanted. There was even a delicious home made sponge for us when we arrived. On our first morning it was a crisp icy morning and the owner not only made a point of warning us that the slope could be slippery but she also came out and gritted it to make sure we were ok. The location itself if stunning. Not too far from greater civilisation but also far enough away that it was peaceful and relaxing. The view across the valley were also stunning. Especially on an icy winters morning in November. Loved it here Fantastic!
