“A weekend walking break” We stayed at Barn Owl Cottage on a weekend of mixed weather to go walking on the South West coast path. The cottage is very warm, comfortable and sparkling clean. Easy to find and although a true retreat and not in a village it was easily to access everywhere we wanted to go during the day times. The local pub was very welcoming and served us good pub food every night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again. Sandy was easy to contact and responded quickly when we had a query.

“A Great Stay” This was probably one of the best rental properties we have stayed in. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The property is located in a quiet part of Rock but still within easy reach of local shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here and would thoroughly recommend it for those seeking a holiday in this part of Cornwall.

“Best equipped holiday rental to date” Rocksalt is a lovely and very comfortable property and because its owners obviously spend a lot of time here themselves, the house is very well and thoughtfully equipped (eg the knives in the kitchen were actually sharp and there was a knife sharpener as well). We found the location of Rocksalt ideal for visiting the places we wanted to see eg Lanhydrock House, Eden Project, Trebah Gardens, Boscastle, Port Isaac, Padstow and more. Our weather was very mixed but we had a great holiday anyway. We would definitely consider coming back to Rocksalt - and I think that says it all.

“Lovely as ever, beautiful views and cosy property” We recently stayed here for the second time and it was just as perfect as the first time. It is only about a 5 minute car journey to the gorgeous beaches of rock, daymer bay & polzeath, we walked along all 3 every day with our dog & he had the best time and didn’t want to come home! The property itself is lovely and very cosy, and I would definitely recommend this property as an excellent holiday cottage and brilliant base for anyone wanting to explore Cornwall!
