Our apartment is very close to Dalston Junction Station with quick transport links to all the important tourist and business areas and just 3 stops from King's Cross International. You will be staying in a stylish new development at the borders of Dalston/Islington, surrounded by old markets, period properties, fancy new restaurants, wonderful independent cafes with quality coffee, and great pubs which have been around for decades.
Our generously-sized 150 sq. metre maisonette/duplex apartment with 4 large bedrooms and 3 large bathrooms offers a level of privacy and space rarely found in London. The first level has an open-plan kitchen and lounge area with two sets of sliding doors leading out to a fully-glazed double-height wintergarden with wooden decking and comfortable seating. Our furniture and wallpaper is carefully chosen from top designers and stores such as Heal's, Lombok, Eames, antique Japanese screens, hand-carved silver mirrors. We have given great attention to the quality of our solid wood beds and pocket-sprung mattresses. The TV is a 48" Samsung smart 4K TV.
All beds are REAL beds on quality 2000 pocket sprung mattresses with natural fillings like wool and cashmere, topped with mattress protectors, solid wood slats underneath and stable solid wood frames, and bedding from designers such as Sheridan.
There is a communal roof terrace with great views down the hall on the 9th floor.
We are located in the thriving community of Dalston on the borders of Hackney and Islington - there are colourful East London markets, amazing cafes, quick connections to all the tourist sights of London, jazz bars and fringe theaters at your doorstep. If you want to experience the diversity and vibrancy of the real London, a place where London professionals and families and young creatives live - Dalston is your best bet. It is honestly one of the most interesting boroughs in London; recent gentrification has taken the edges off and given us some top quality restaurants and cafes. You will be staying moments away from the trendy Arcola Theatre and Bar, Vortex Jazz Bar, Eastern Curve Garden, Cafe Route, Cafe Oto, Birthdays, Dalston Superstore, Dalston Roof Gardens, Rotorino, Hunters, The Talbot, The Scolt's Head, Farr's School of Dance (a pub). Nearby markets are Ridley Road Market (fruite and veg almost daily), Broadway Market (Saturday mornings - truly wonderful with great stalls and food), Columbia Flower Market (Sundays - colourful and extremely full), Brick Lane Market (Sundays), Spitalfields (daily) - the area has changed enormously over the last decade and many famous designers, comedians and artists live here.
