Situated on a quiet tree-lined street, less than 10 minutes' walk from Kings Cross St Pancras Station, and similarly the vibrant buzz of Islington, my apartment is perfectly located for a short (or not-so-short) visit to London.

My place is comfortable rather than "flashy", and I aim to provide a welcoming 'home-from-home' stay for all guests.

The apartment has its own front door, with stairs leading up to the main floor which has a large lounge, a good-sized double bedroom (with ensuite shower/wetroom), a smaller (3m x 2.6m) bedroom/study, the family bathroom and a large kitchen with access to the rear garden. There is a further set of stairs from the hallway up to the loft bedroom.

** surcharge for groups of more than 6 people (come on, it's only fair!) **

Even if I do say so myself, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better spot!!

Islington's Upper Street has a range of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars as extensive as any other area of London, but at a much more leisured pace. For even more selection, there's Exmouth Market and Clerkenwell - or you can explore the restaurants and bars (including the longest champagne bar in Europe) at St Pancras. If you prefer to cook yourself, Sainsbury's (also Waitrose and M&S) is close by to get your supplies - or there's Chapel Market for fresh fruit & veg at super-cheap prices...

Heading out on the tiles? The West End is a short ride away (whether by bus, tube or taxi), or wander over to Hoxton - described by Time Out as "the trendiest place in the Capital"

For the fitness enthusiasts, there are numerous gyms and swimming pools in Islington, as well as Regent's Canal which is a great morning run route (also great for cycling or walking). More sedate entertainment is available at the world-famous Sadlers' Wells Theatre or the multiplex Vue Cinema.
