Beautiful first floor apartment in the wide tree lined street of Bassett Road.

A beautifully light and airy apartment with high ceilings on the first floor of one of the detached period houses in Bassett Road, the premier address in Ladbroke Grove.

Two minutes walk from Ladbroke Grove station [ Circle line and Hammersmith & City line ] it is a tranquil place to stay near the hubbub of the Portobello Road with its bohemian and culturally diverse restaurants and bars. You can run the full gamut from charming local cafes and street food market in Golborne Road, Galicia my favourite where you are transported to Spain without taking the flight! - to the Electric and Richard Caring's Pizza East. An ideal base from which to explore the charms of Notting Hill and West London and to stroll through the Portobello Antique market on Saturdays.

The apartment has ample storage with wall to wall Nantucket cupboards fitted. You can enjoy a coffee on the diminutive - although adequate - balcony in the sunshine before venturing out to explore the area. The kitchen has a fridge with separate freezer, washer/dryer, oven hob and extractor, microwave and electric kettle.

Super fast 60 MB Fibre optic broadband with unlimited download and a 42 inch Plasma TV with terrestrial channels.

I live a mile from the property. As guests arrive at different times of day and are never sure of their time of arrival I find that they are far happier knowing they can access the apartment using the Keysafe. I am always at the end of the telephone to answer any queries or should you be looking for recommendations. I am a member of the Chelsea Arts Club and when I am there am delighted to sign you in - one of London's hidden gems :)

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Catherine (the owner) a message.

If Catherine (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
