Seascape is superbly situated at the foot of Nethergate only yards from the picturesque Kinghorn beach and it's historic harbour. It is close to The Fife Coastal Path route with spectacular views across the Firth of Forth, and within a short walking distance to the mainline railway station for Edinburgh, Perth and Inverness.

This unusual property has recently been refurbished to an excellent standard and is a  great place to escape and unwind at any time of the year.

Property description

Seascape is a very bright self contained one bedroom property on two levels. The original building dates back to the 17h century but was converted into four apartments in the early eighties. All windows are south facing with sea views framed by the impressive railway viaduct built in 1847.

The main entrance is on the first floor level, which comprises :

A spacious  sitting room with dining area, smart TV, DVD and free WI FI.

A  compact, fully equipped modern kitchen including washing machine, tumble dryer, and microwave.

A contemporary bathroom with overhead shower.

From the sitting room there is a wooden stairway leading to the ground level which comprises :

A large double bedroom, lots of  cupboard space, small, stylish en suite toilet, with shower and French door leading to ground level.

By the main entrance is an attractive sheltered sunny deck ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks.

Outside at ground level there is secure storage space for golf clubs, trolleys

( electricity for recharging batteries) bikes, kayaks, sailboards etc.

Off street parking and a public car park opposite.

Extra features;

There is a sofa bed in the sitting room suitable for one person.

Pets are welcome.

Arrival and departure times can be flexible depending on further bookings.

“Comfortable and good value for money”

The apartment was very clean and comfortable and had all the facilities you could reasonably expect for the price. There were some nice touches too like a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge. Communication with the owner was prompt and efficient. The location was fine, with bus stops and the railway station in easy reach.

Lovely central cottage with great views from living room window of viaduct and sea in the distance. Everything required in clean comfortable cottage. Great harbour, beach and coastal walks

“Perfect Pet Friendly Holiday Cottage”

This is my 2nd visit to Seascape this year. It's a lovely little cottage perfect for a couple or singleton with pet like me. Very comfortable & clean with lovely views through the Viaduct down to the pretty harbour. Fantastic coastal walks virtually from the doorstep, ideal base for travelling further afield. Barbara & John are very kind & helpful Molly & I had a fab stay & we hope to come back soon.

“Fabulous Fife”

We loved the apartment - spacious, modern and very clean! Kinghorn itself is a small but friendly place and a great base for exploring the beautiful Fife coast; we would especially recommend a visit to the historic town of St Andrews. We would also recommend a visit to Kinghorn Chip Shop! There is a great selection of well cooked food and it offers much more then your average 'chip shop'. Finally, thank you to Barbara for looking after us so well.

Lovely holiday cottage with beautiful views of the viaduct, cottages below & the Firth of Forth. The property is very comfortable, warm with everything you would need for the perfect holiday. Beautiful coastal walk into Kirkcaldy & beyond also a perfect base to explore further afield. The pretty harbour is a short stroll down the hill with superb views over to Bass Rock, Berwick Law, Isle of May, Inchkeith Island,Edinburgh & surrounding area. Good transport system within easy reach. Pet friendly

How do damage deposits work?
