“Wonderfully quiet, clean and cosy centrally located weekend retreat for two” This lovely small appartment, with the added bonus of a garden off the sitting room, is ideally located in the quiet residential district of New Town in Edinburgh which is a ten to fifteen minute walk into the City. There are lots of interesting boutiques and places to eat nearby. We would highly recommend this rental and hope to visit again soon. We arrived late and our hostess had left us all the essentials and smoked salmon and sparkling wine!

“billiant” was good to get away with the dog and children, nice relaxed place to re charge the body, local people very friendly, the food up at the local bar was very good also,, and in the hot tub till 12 in the morning the kids loved it.

“Perfect central location” The appartment was just a 5 minute walk from central station, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night, we would have liked to stay longer. Many thanks to the owners for your help.

“Cosy place” Beautifully renovated place and feel in love with it the moment you walked in! We didn't have a car but city centre is only about 10min walk, located in a quiet residential place. There is also Tesco superstore and Sainsbury local nearby. Highly recommended! Would definitely come back!

“Edinburgh Fringe 2015 - The return!” We were delighted to find the location of the apartment was literally round the corner from The Royal Mile, however once down Old Assembly Close and in Tron Square you would never know the hustle and bustle that lies ahead - very quiet apart from the occasional revellers returning in the wee hours making a short cut through. The apartment is equipped to a high standard and we found everything we needed. Our son and his fiancé joined us for 4 days and although the sofa bed in the living area was perfectly adequate, it's a little tight for 4 adults, that said, due to the weather being exceptionally kind to us, apart from sleeping and breakfast we were out and about the rest of the time. A very minor detail was the lack of recycling facilities and the forest of flyers/newspapers/brochures that the fringe generates had be thrown in the bin! Would definitely recommend 16a Tron Square to anyone looking for accommodation in the heart of it all!

“Peacfull,City escape” Booking, info , arrival & departure process was easy and organised . Amazing value with everything you need for a stay . Small shop and social club beautiful food. Amazing views . Perfect comfy beds and plenty hot water. Didn't need a fire but lit one anyway as it was so nice to look at. Car is absolute essential as quite a drive from anywhere ( 45 mins to Oban, but stunning scenery on route ) . Phone reception (o2 & Vodafone) was good but no internet unless in social club (evenings only).my only criticism is on cleanliness , could be better too many cob webs (no spiders tho) and Windows could benefit from a jet wash. All that said I have a relaxing Peacfull visit and will defo return next year ..

“Wonderful Little Bay” The Apartment is very beautiful, perfect for a family with children or two couple. The leaving room is big and nice with a magnific view on the bay. The main sleeping room in very romantic with a nice view on the bay. The kitchen is well equipped and big. In the house you can find everything you need. Jane is very kind, she provide everything for our baby and a welcome pack, gorgeous!!! We would have stayed more days but we needed to leave to continue our holiday trip.

“Barcaldine review” Fabulous cottage, 20 minutes walk from central Oban, which made it very peaceful and relaxing, so quiet you could probably hear a pin drop! Very comfortable beds and large rooms with ample storage space.

“Ms” Fantastic stay in this beautiful little cottage. Clean modern and friendly. Took my elderly patents in their 80's and access was great. Lots of home comforts and it is a ver good location for visiting all the little villages around. We got a lovely friendly welcome from Aida and her son. Will definately return.

“Great location; attention to detail” My wife and I, and our four year old daughter, recently stayed at The Imperial. It is a great North Berwick location -- close to shops, beach, bars, sights, etc. The apartment is very clean and the owner has paid close attention to many details such as very nice soaps, towels, beds, etc. It also is extremely kid-friendly, with books and toys and games for use. Also, the bedrooms are not facing the street. So although it is centrally located, it doesn't sound like it -- even on Friday or Saturday night. Highly recommended.
