“Fabulous!” My partner and I stayed in this property for one week in July 2016. Penny was very organized and friendly--she sent us detailed instructions about how to reach the cottage, and she prepared a wonderful welcome package. Penny was also extremely helpful during our stay with recommendations about places to visit in the area. The letting itself is very comfortable, with a nice kitchen and bathroom. The lounge/living room is not huge, but still perfect for a couple or couple with one or two small children. The location is great---the village of Kilrenny is very nice, and it is very easy to walk to Anstruther. There is also a bus stop nearby. We came by car, but it was nice to also be able to use other forms of transportation.

“A fantastic rural hideaway” An ideal location for a family of 4 with a dog. The cottage is located in the small hamlet of Kilrenny about a 10 minute walk to the lovely harbour town of Cellardyke and a 20 minute walk to Anstruther Harbour (with a pit stop at the excellent Haven - which we classed as our local). The cottage was more than well equipped and very homely and is a great base to explore the East Neuk coastline which has some amazing walks. We all really enjoyed staying here and would thoroughly recommend. The only small downside is the lack of wifi but to be honest we weren't here for that and there is a huge collection of DVDs, books and CDs to keep you entertained. Overall a really enjoyable stay and would definitely go back.
