The Scotland region

The Fife Coastal Route Walk is easily accessible and there are fantastic walks to both St Monans and round the coast towards Shell Bay and Lower Largo. Elie is a popular coastal village famed for it's "way of life" and amenities. Elie Beach stretches from the nearby Pier in a broad sweep over some 1 1/4 miles to Earlsferry point and borders both the village of Elie and nearby Earlsferry. Both villages combined form a Royal Burgh and provides a wonderful environment for beach activities and water sports. In addition, Elie has a well regarded Links Course which is used as a qualifying course when the open championship comes to St. Andrews every five years in addition, Elie sports club also has all weather tennis courts, nine hole course, particularly suited to children, and in the summer there are well organized Children's activity clubs on a daily basis. The High Street has an interesting selection of shop including a Delicatessen, Restaurant and two Banks and there is also a local primary school. Secondary schooling is available in nearby as well as co-educational private schooling at St. leonard's in St. Andrews. The East Neuk of fife is one of Scotland's Favored holiday destinations and is well known for its mild maritime climate and pretty coastal villages and Harbour's. St Andrews, approximately 13 miles, is framed worldwide as the home of golf and in addition to the seven courses run by the Links trust at St. Andrews there are many other well regarded local courses including London Links, Crail, Kingsbarns and Leven.Edinburgh is some 43 miles and there are also daily train services from nearby Kirkcaldy as domestic and international flights from Dundee airport

Elie

For many visitors t's a game that draws them here, for St Andrews is the home of golf, the sport having been played here for some 600 years. The Old Course is arguably the most famous golf course in the world, and the Royal and Ancient Golf Club is still the ruling body for the rules of golf. Fittingly, the Old Course hosted the Open during the millennium year and did so again in 2005 and 2010. The next staging of the Open in St Andrews is set for 2015, be sure to book your accommodation early.?St Andrews is a town meant for exploring. The medieval layout of the town centre remains intact, with the main shopping areas concentrated in Market Street and South Street, with Bell Street and Church Street connecting the two principal streets. Take time to explore – on foot – and take pleasure at the surprises and delights you will find. Eating Out there are so many great choices from great fish and chips to stunning destination restaurants.

“Perfect holiday apartment”

Reviewed 22 Aug 2015

3rd (or 4th?) time we have stayed at 10 Golf Court. We love Elie, this apartment is perfect for our family of 4. Comfortable, central, everything within easy reach. Sky TV too! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Elie getting a little pricey but when the sun shines always more than worth it.

“Lovely place for beach and golf; roomy and comfortable”

Reviewed 24 Jul 2015

This apartment is roomy, comfortable and well appointed. It's location on the Elie wee golf course is perfect. The patio is a great place to sit and watch the golfers whilst enjoying your cocktail. Everything in Elie is within walking distance. Great beach and golf. The rental has a dedicated off street parking spot which is a huge plus. The kitchen has everything you need. Nice bathrooms and comfortable beds. Great place!
