The Little Tin Chapel was featured in an April edition of Homebuilding and Renovating Magazine pages 220 - 231.
Nestling opposite the Shropshire Union canal, Chester's only remaining Victorian tin chapel has been lovingly restored. The Little Tin Chapel is the perfect base for your holiday just a two minute walk from the historic Roman walls, a ten minute walk into the city centre and a short walk of half a mile from the Racecourse. The Chapel received a glowing review by The Independent in the travel section on the17th March 2015.
The Little Tin Chapel has been beautifully restored, retaining its original charming character and features with stained glass arched windows throughout. The main open plan 20' x 40' living area has reclaimed pine flooring underfoot, re-instated tongue and groove ceiling and Victorian style radiators. Providing the perfect place to relax on the Harris Tweed sofas in front of the wood burning stove or to cook a delicious meal in the stylish kitchen. Double doors provide access to the garden surrounding the chapel complete with a BBQ area.
There is a double and a twin bedroom that has a zip and link bed so can be used as either a twin or super king sized bed. The large bathroom boasts a walk in shower and roll top bath to unwind in after a day's shopping, sightseeing or walking in the surrounding countryside. The chapel also has secure bike storage room and has cycling routes on the doorstep as well as a useful laundry room. There is a free private car parking space a two minutes walk from the Chapel or alternatively there is on road parking.
By saving this tin chapel it can be enjoyed by all, for future generations, as a quirky and memorable holiday home.
Based on the most recent announcement, 22nd February 2021, currently it is looking like we can open from 12th April. Between 12th April and 16th May any booking will be limited to one household. Between 17th May and 20th June any booking will be limited to two households or a maximum of 6 people from various households.
We keep a close eye on the Covid-19 situation and ensure we follow government and local rules to keep ourselves, guests and everyone else as safe as possible.
Using the guidance from the Government and industry bodies we follow a strict covid-19 cleaning protocol such as steam cleaning soft furnishings, using recommended products and take extra time and care to sanitise any regularly touched items and areas e.g. door handles. Whilst cleaning we will be wearing full PPE and we also leave adequate gaps between guest bookings.
We ask that all guests follow the government guidelines of social distancing, wearing face masks, regular hand washing and any local or national regulations. Together with your cooperation in these difficult times we can all stay safe and well whilst continuing to enjoy this beautiful area.

Great place to stay. 10 minute walk into centre of time, next to the canal. Lovely place, cozy, all the amenities you need.
Beautiful, unique and so comfortable. Comfortable beds, luxurious fittings and everything you need for a stay away from home. Felt sad to leave. We will be back.

“A gem close to the heart of Chester”
The unprepossessing exterior hides a delightfully designed layout within. The former nave accommodates the kitchen, dining area and lounge, the vaulted ceiling of which provides an airy space. This is comfortably heated by an efficient heating system serving all the rooms well (December visit). The whole Chapel is well equipped , the bathroom scoring highly with its large shower and attractive bath. The Chapel is close to the City walls providing an easy and interesting walk to the centre. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely comfortable living space and kitchen, large bathroom and bedrooms all fine. Great location by the canal with a 10 minute walk to the city centre. We would certainly consider returning.
