“Great location” We stayed here with our 2yr and 4yr olds children. The apartment was well equipped for everything we needed for keep them happy!
The location was great, less than 5 minutes walk to the city centre and only a 10 min drive to the zoo. Underground parking, with a lift up to the apartment was great so we could bundle the kids and all the stuff up!
Huge storage room with the boiler in, so great for drying out damp clothes and buggy, etc.
Owner was easily contactable and helpful too.
“Great location” Lovely place to use as a base while exploring chester and the surrounding area. Good parking and nice room/views. Owner Ken thought of everything to ensure the stay was perfect. Would definitely recommend.
“A home away from home - only better!” Woodfield Cottage is a lovely bungalow set in a beautiful rural setting next to a dairy farm. It was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. I was delighted to find that the owner had left us with fresh farm eggs from her own chickens and a jug of fresh milk for our tea when we arrived. The garden is fenced securely so our dog could roam at will. It was very quiet and peaceful so we had a very relaxing stay. We will definitely be booking again next year.
“Lovely cottage” This is a lovely well thought out cottage with lots of little extras and very clean. The owners obviously take great pride in their cottages. The location is great for National Trust houses and walking on the canal. Will definitely be back.

“Absolutely Fabulous” What a beautiful, stylish and well equipped house! The location is superb, the city centre is literally round the corner. The booking process was easy and straightforward and we were given all the information we needed well in advance from Ian and Teresa (the owners). Miriam the house manager was brilliant - our arrival time kept moving due to traffic hold ups etc but she greeted us with a lovely warm smile and gave us the house tour. Can't recommend this place highly enough, it really was a pleasure from start to finish and we will most definitely be back. Thank you!
“Beautiful garden apartment” Our stay in Debbie's apartment was everything we wished. Great location - in a quiet cul-de-sac yet walking distance to Wilmslow centre. Lovely character apartment beautifully appointed. Parking directly on the front driveway. Peaceful garden. I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed with their stay in Debbie's apartment.
“Excellent in every respect - very pleased” Ideally situated apartment for a short or long visit to Cheshire. Very well appointed and maintained property which was quiet and comfortable. Excellent value for money in fact the best I have stayed in. The owner was very friendly and helpful. If I ever visit the area again I will not need to consider anywhere else to stay. Thank you very much.
“A Most Enjoyable Break” We enjoyed our stay at Dane Cottage very much. We were made to feel very welcome. Bailey the dog was always pleased to see us on our return from a day’s sightseeing. I tried fishing in the lovely lake, but didn't catch too much due to being distracted by the wildlife including kingfishers. The only downside was having to go home after such a fantastic break.
“Perfect Cottage, Perfect Location” We rented Douglas Cottage for a girly weekend in January. It was perfect! Just a short walk from the station with parking (by permit) for a car outside it was easy to find and just a very short walk from the shops and the sights. The cottage itself was immaculate and beautifully presented. We really couldn't fault it. Each room was distinctive and imaginatively decorated with beautiful furnishings and antiques. The bathrooms were of the highest standard as was the kitchen (although the oven was so high tech it had us flummoxed a bit, although a quick read of the instructions solved that). There was a lovely little back yard although 3 inches of snow meant we didn't try it.
Barbara and Andrew were really hospitable and had left us a lovely little welcome pack with bread, milk, coffee, tea, butter and a few goodies which was really kind of them. They were also kind enough to let us stay an extra couple of hours on the Sunday, although they won't always be able to do that if they have other guests coming in, it was really nice of them to accomodate this request.
All in all we had a lovely weekend and would highly recommend this cottage.
“Miss” Fantastic... Comes highly recommended! We stayed in the oak lodge for a week which was perfect. We arrived after 48hours travelling and felt instantly at home. The kids (ages 2 and 6!) were all over the show with jet lag but it didn't matter that were up at 3am having breakfast as there was no-one To disturb. Well equipped, comfy, light and spacious. Gorgeous views over the welsh hills and privacy. 5 min walk to local high street, pub, pharmacy, coffee shop. 15 mins into Wrexham or Chester with supermarkets. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Jane.

4B Stanley Place
Amazing Anniversary stay
We wanted a place we could celebrate our wedding anniversary with a toddler in tow. Gone are the boutique hotel stays now, self catering and a place to relax once little one is asleep is a must. We still like to feel we are having a bit of luxury though and we certainly did here. The bedroom is gorgeous in a lovely spacious apartment and the little touches made it perfect. Biscuits and jam (homemade we assume?)and lovely coffee. We relaxed and wandered around the City -easy from the central location and enjoyed a thoroughly lovely stay. Would recommend to all our friends and family wanting a luxury stay in a wonderful City. …
Little Tin Chapel
From the moment we arrived until we left we had a brilliant time at the little tin chapel, absolutely everything you need for a relaxing break, you just turn up with clothes and food, everything else you need is provided for you. The accommodation has been very well thought out and is very comfortable, the bed was the best I have ever slept in when away from home. We found parking right outside for our stay each time we used the car. The correspondence with the owners was effortless and they even returned some medication that was accidentally left behind. Book a holiday at the little tin chapel and you will not be disappointed, we will be returning. …
