“Miss” Fantastic... Comes highly recommended! We stayed in the oak lodge for a week which was perfect. We arrived after 48hours travelling and felt instantly at home. The kids (ages 2 and 6!) were all over the show with jet lag but it didn't matter that were up at 3am having breakfast as there was no-one To disturb. Well equipped, comfy, light and spacious. Gorgeous views over the welsh hills and privacy. 5 min walk to local high street, pub, pharmacy, coffee shop. 15 mins into Wrexham or Chester with supermarkets. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Jane.
“Beautiful location, and peaceful stay at lovely converted barn!” I would recommend this lovely converted barn for anyone looking for a peaceful get away to a rural location. The barn is situated on two acres which has been recently refurbished and the entrance is very 'Dallas' like with it's own electric gates! Close proximity to convenient stores, Chester and motorways make it ideal travelling by car.
Our stay was comfortable and spacious.
“Loved every minute!!” We had a fantastic time, the boat was really nice, with lots of little extra touches like toiletries, biscuits..!! It was well equipped with everything that we needed for cooking and a great wood burner to keep it cosy. But there.s also central heating so even though we had one very cold snowy day it was lovely and warm on the boat Martin was lovely, very reassuring and helpful. It was our first experience of canal boating and we are definitely hooked!!
“Winter city break” This accommodation is perfect for a city break in Chester. We enjoyed being that little bit away from the centre. The walk really was easy. The accommodation provided by Paul is homely, warm, clean and relaxing. Excellent. The eating places recommended were all of good value and a treat. We will return.
