Description from owner

The Little Tin Chapel is featured in April's edition of Homebuilding and Renovating Magazine pages 220 - 231.

Nestling opposite the Shropshire Union canal, Chester's only remaining Victorian tin chapel has been lovingly restored. The Little Tin Chapel is the perfect base for your holiday just a two minute walk from the historic Roman walls, a ten minute walk into the city centre and a short walk of half a mile from the Racecourse. The Chapel recieved a glowing review by The Independent in the travel section on the17th March 2015.

The Little Tin Chapel has been beautifully restored, retaining its original charming character and features with stained glass arched windows throughout. The main open plan 20' x 40' living area has reclaimed pine flooring underfoot, re-instated tongue and groove ceiling and Victorian style radiators. Providing the perfect place to relax on the Harris Tweed sofas in front of the wood burning stove or to cook a delicious meal in the stylish kitchen. Double doors provide access to the garden surrounding the chapel complete with a BBQ area.

There is a double and a twin bedroom that has a zip and link bed so can be used as either a twin or super king sized bed. The large bathroom boasts a walk in shower and roll top bath to unwind in after a day's shopping, sightseeing or walking in the surrounding countryside. The chapel also has secure bike storage room and has cycling routes on the doorstep as well as a useful laundry room. There is a free private car parking space a two minutes walk from the Chapel or alternatively there is on road parking.

By saving this tin chapel it can be enjoyed by all, for future generations, as a quirky and memorable holiday home.

“Birthday break”

Reviewed 2 Nov 2018

WOW From the moment we arrived until we left we had a brilliant time at the little tin chapel, absolutely everything you need for a relaxing break, you just turn up with clothes and food, everything else you need is provided for you. The accommodation has been very well thought out and is very comfortable, the bed was the best I have ever slept in when away from home. We found parking right outside for our stay each time we used the car. The correspondence with the owners was effortless and they even returned some medication that was accidentally left behind. Book a holiday at the little tin chapel and you will not be disappointed, we will be returning.

“Fabntastic gem”

Reviewed 5 Mar 2017

Stayed at the little tin chapel for a weekend with friends. The chapel is wonderful quality of fixtures and fittings of a very high standard. Rained Saturday night so a good excuse to light the log fire and relax. So close to Chester town centre a 10 minute walk along the tow path. Cannot recommend highly enough. Only disappointment was having to leave by 10.30 am Sunday morrning

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review, so pleased that you enjoyed your stay in the Little Tin Chapel so much. We often have same day change overs so need to allow enough time, hence the 10.30 check out. Hope to welcome you back again some time. Kind regards, Amy

Perfect little property which didn't disappoint. Beautifully furnished inside from the stunning bathroom to the amazing open planned kitchen/living room with the log burner!!! Great communication from the owners and the little touches like the tea, coffee, milk make all the difference! Info booklets provided also helps to find local activities if new to City. Great location too (10/15 minute stroll along wall to centre). Will definitely be visiting again and already recommending it to everyone i speak to!!!

“Gorgeous little Gem in Chester”

We had such a lovely time staying at the Little Tin Chapel, a wonderful place. We booked it so that we could go to Chester zoo, which we loved and only a 12 minute drive away. The Little Tin Chapel was a great find as it has lots of character and we really enjoyed lighting the wood burner and relaxing in the evening there. Definitely would recommend!
