Additional Information

Please advise at booking if you require the twin bedrooms to be made up as king beds, if not requested in advance (at least 10 days) default will be twin beds.

Check-in between 3-6pm on day of arrival, Check out 10am except on Sundays when check out is extended to 3pm.

We ask that there should be no loud noise be it from voices or music outside after 10pm.

“Hillside Lodge”

A lovely stay in Hillside Lodge. Four adults and four children. The lodge was modern and spacious, heated to perfection, spotless throughout and very comfortable. We loved the hot tub too! We only stayed two nights so didn't get much opportunity to explore the area, we visited Cheddar Gorge and that was a great day out, we intend to return for a longer stay.

Went as a group of 6 adults and 4 children and had a great time. Lodge was spotlessly clean and comfortable and great space for socialising. Karen was lovely and very helpful.

“Highly recommended for a large family holiday”

We chose these cottages (the large one and two lodges) for a week-long family reunion (grandparents, 5 children and partners, 10 grandchildren), and had a wonderful time. We were lucky in the weather (weeklong sunshine), and as a result never needed to visit any of the local attractions: the grandchildren were happily engaged in and around the pool, and the adults enjoyed the peace and comfort - and the hot tubs! The fittings and furnishings are to a high standard, and well thought out; the only additional thing we had to ask to borrow was kitchen scales when my daughter baked a birthday cake! The proprietors are invisible, but present and helpful if needed. Since I live abroad, it is difficult for me to judge prices; I should say the accommodation is on the expensive side, but well worth it. In short, higly recommended.

How do damage deposits work?

If Karen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
