Located literally a few steps from Cellardyke's historic harbour and sandy beach, Curlew Cottage is the perfect place to holiday.

Newly refurbished and decorated, this ground floor apartment offers stylish and comfortable accommodation including a feature fireplace with wood burning stove, three bedrooms (one king-size and two doubles), a family bathroom with huge walk-in shower, a dining kitchen and a spacious lounge.

The accommodation is on ground level apart from three steps down into the kitchen and bathroom, making it comfortable and welcoming as well as being ideal for children or those with mobility issues. There are partial sea views from the kitchen and the lounge and there is ample on street parking.

There is plenty to do in Cellardyke with kayaking, cycling, fishing, golf and walking (the Fife Coastal path passes the front door) all on your doorstep. And after a busy day, The Haven restaurant and pub is a handy 50 metres away - or you could just take your glass and sit at the harbourside!

St. Andrews, the home of golf, is a mere 10 miles from the cottage and Anstruther, with its restaurants, cafes and shops is a brief 10 minute stroll.

Whether it's an action-packed holiday you want, a sight-seeing break, or something more relaxed like just sitting by the fire, Curlew Cottage offers the perfect getaway destination.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lisa (the owner) a message.

If Lisa (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
