“Great house” Port Perry is a great big house that was ideal for our family of 11. There was lots of room for 5 energetic boys to let off steam - both inise and out. The games in the garage were also a bonus. Thanks for making our stay a brilliant one.

“A great place to stay with a large group of friends” The accomodation at Lindores is surprisingly spacious, with large rooms set over 3 floors. There are a good number of bathrooms (a must with a large group) and a well-equipped kitchen, The living room is cosy and the log burner easy to light! The accomodation is clean, warm and comfortable throughout and there was no shortage of hot water. The location of the house is excellent, with the beach just around the corner, and a good number of pubs, a good Italian restaurant and a village shop. The surrounding area and coast line is stunning with loads to see and do.

“Fab apartment with amazing views.” Had an amazing stay at this lovely apartment. Keith the owner picked me up from the station and there was a lovely welcome for me with fresh flowers and a freshly baked cake by Louise. The apartment was in an excellent location with only a 10 minute walk into the town walking over the old bridge which had scenic views over the river Tweed. The apartment was well equipped with everything you could need for a really comfortable stay and the views from the arched windows were amazing. This is a perfect apartment for a couple, there was even a lift so would even be suitable for anyone who had difficulty with stairs. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Berwick and the surrounding area.

“First Class as Always” This is the second time my Wife and I have used Beachcombers and again we enjoyed it. February in the north of England is not necessarily the best time of year for a holiday and outside it was as expected freezing but fortunately for the most part dry. Beachcombers has good heating system and seems very thermally efficient so we were never cold, once the apartment was warm we had to turn the heating off. So wrapped up against the cold we enjoyed some great days on the beach, nice walks along to Seahouses and back. Exploring Alnwick, visiting Barter Books, swimming at Alnwick Leisure Centre. Great! and in the evenings a bit of cooking, reading TV etc. Thoroughly enjoyable. We will be back again.

“Great weekend break” Friends and I stayed in what is advertised as a cottage suite during the low season. This was a lovely fully equipped 2 bedroom cottage [police house cottages] with breakfast and evening dinner taken in the Dunstanburgh castle hotel just across the road.. The accommodation was excellent, the hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel food was of a very good standard with a great menu choice. If you enjoy the convenience of good quality hotel food but prefer the space and privacy of a cottage, this is an excellent deal and great value for money..

“Nice caravan, owner easy to deal with” Caravan was clean and well furnished. Stuart was easy to deal with. All in all a great holiday. Cocklawburn beach is exceptional, we saw starfish and dolphins in one morning

“Excellent property - Clean, well decorated and furnished” As system installers who spend much of the year away from home we prefer to stay in lets rather than hotels. having stayed in possible to many throughout Europe of the years Sunflower House was up with the best. I only hope that should we again be working in the Amble area it's available.

“fabulous” The owners, viv and Louise were very helpful with any questions we had during booking our break, they provided all the information we required including maps to ensure we had no problem finding the cottage. We were given a time that we could arrive at the cottage but were informed the day before that we were welcome to arrive anytime due to there being no-one in the cottage before us, which was great as we arrived in snow blizzards. The house is not your usual basic rental property, it has been finished to a lovely standard and is a home from home, I cannot explain how lovely and cosy it is, and the beds are the com fiest! There is everything you can think of in the house down to the smallest things and the welcome package of wine, chocolate and biscuits was a lovely thought. The house is central to alnwick town, which is only a five minute walk to the centre, where there are plenty of quaint shops, including Barter Books, we also took the children to the playhouse theatre to see aladdin, which was thoroughly enjoyable and nice to be able to walk there and back on an evening! We visited Bamburgh Castle, Lindisfarne and Holy Island during our stay which were both a short driving distance from alnwick. This cottage has no negatives whatsoever, it was a truly enjoyable break made even better by having such a lovely place to go back and relax in at the end of each busy day. Would recommend and will definitely be returning!
