“Beautiful” What a lovely place to stay. Well equipped and beautifully presented. Wish I could have stayed there for a lot longer. The bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need, I cooked a full English and a casserole without a problem. Having the sky tv was good as the first night we got there it was very stormy out so we couldn't really get out and about. Would definitely visit and stay again. Thank you very much.

“Perfect peaceful base to explore this part of Cornwall. We loved it.” Well equipped, spotlessly clean accommodation in a peaceful location. Great views from the terrace, the owners even provided binoculars which were great for looking out to sea and for spotting deer on the hillsides. You definitely need a car to explore the lovely seaside villages of Looe, Polperro and Fowey. You can walk to Looe but need to be reasonably fit for the SW coastal path's ups and downs. Hope to return one day.

“Great Stay Even in Rainy November” We booked knowing that November had the potential to be rainy and cold and we were not wrong. Despite the bad weather the villa was warm and snug, catching the sun’s rays thus lighting and warming the inside. The view over the cove is wonderful and we were able to lie in bed watching the wind, rain whipping up waves in the sea. There is plenty to do locally, even out of season, and much of it and cafes are dog-friendly. We found the peace and quiet that we wanted and were able to sit and read or watch tv in comfort. Our dogs were happy and loved the close proximity of woodland and beach. The villa is fully furnished to a very high standard, beautifully coordinated and fully equipped with Freeview tv, WiFi, hob & oven, dishwasher and washer/dryer etc.... There electric radiators in each room and even with a raging storm outside we were perfectly snug and warm. There is an on-site dog-friendly Cafe by the beach, where we had a delicious lunch. Just at the top of the road there is an award winning fish & chip shop/restaurant. We tried it out early in the week and rebooked for our last evening. It was exceptionally good fish & chips but there were several other things on the menu besides fish. The fishing village/small town of Looe is a few minutes by car down the road or a good step along the coastal path. Looe has shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants and is a charming place to sit on the quayside with a drink and watch the world go by. The downside to a November visit is looking out at the villa’s terrace and wishing it was summer and warm enough to bbq, sunbathe and really enjoy the beautiful view. We left wanting to return again and will definitely re book.

“Mrs” Wonderful! What a fabulous stay we had at The Owl! We were greeted with a delicious home made afternoon tea which went down a treat after a long journey! Tracy and Geoff have thought of everything and were always on hand should we have needed them - we will definitely be coming back....sooner the better!

“Mr” Lovely cottage well equipped with everything you needed lovely welcome from the owners a very nice welcome pack consisting of a cream tea and milk, eggs, home made bread and lots of other goodies too many to list a yummy cake as a surprise on Wednesday also treats for our dog as well she wasn't forgotten about there's a nice courtyard with a gate which makes it secure so you can let your dog wander around nice walk through the garden with a lovely lake which is well stocked with a variety of course fish there is also a field which you take your dog around we really enjoyed our stay at the court and will be booking again for the spring next year you would not be disappointed if you stayed there

“Best self catering accommodation I have ever stayed in” We recently spent a very enjoyable week in Deep Blue Shore. The accommodation is of avert high quality and it is clear that a great deal of thought has been taken to ensure that the holidaymaker's needs are catered for. There is a huge kitchen with a table that would seat at least 10 and all the usual kitchen appliances. There I a lounge with two large leather sofas and TV which has Sky. Another lounge has Wii and A play station which we made good use of on the one wet evening we had. There are four bedrooms two ensuite and a separate bathroom and shower which was really useful for our party of three adult couples. Three bedrooms are doubles and the fourth a bedroom with two sets of bunks which is a little on the small side but adequate for children. The house is situated within 100 yards of the beach at Hannafore and this can be seen from the front garden and the front two bedrooms. Another plus is the parking-we managed to squeeze three cars on the front drive and there is further parking for at least one car at the rear of the property . There are plenty of resonantly priced restaurants in Looe and on a sunny evening a very pleasant walk but be aware that it is a steady climb back after the meal. As Looe is a busy fishing port there is always activity to watch or lots of water activities to take part in. We will definitely consider returning to Deep Blue Shore (or one of Alan & Dee's apartments) as this was the most luxurious self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in.

“Sea retreat” We spent two wonderful weeks at seaview retreat the accomodation was just situated in the most perfect place 2 mins to the beach beach bar and bistro it was beautiful and exceptionally clean provided all utilitys needed for our self catering holiday sky TV and a lovely big decking area which we used a lot we would definitely recommend this accommodation and would definitely return here if we ever return to Cornwall in the future it was just beautiful

“Home from home!” We absolutely loved our weekend in Sandra’s lodge! Everything you need to make your stay comfortable (the beds are soooo good) and the grounds are so peaceful. Sandra left a great traditional Cornish cream tea for our arrival which was delicious. We also took home a box of her amazing homemade cupcakes! Excellent base for us to explore Looe and the Eden Project and the 11am check out Sunday was appreciated. We will definitely return in the warmer months so we can explore a little more. “lovely and peaceful, great location” Great positioning for Looe and Liskeard, near to beach.Really good cabin, lovely quiet location. a few cob webs and dust. could have been a little cleaner but we did take a large dog with us, so furniture in keeping for dog friendly stay. Owner really lovely and helpful. dont forget to take towels.
