“Recommended” I took the 3-day package and stayed with my spouse. The visit coincided with my birthday and I was pleasantly surprised when Ali, the cabin owner, gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. I don't know if this is her standard greeting to new guests but it was very much appreciated. The complimentary milk was a treat too. All the facilities are as described in the letting blurb and, like the other reviewers, I had a really good time relaxing in the sauna/hot tub or watching the Sky package at the end of my day. One minor quibble (and it is minor) is that the bedroom is described as 'en suite'. Since it is the only toilet and the bedroom is part of the open plan layout of the cabin it is not 'en suite' as I understand it. Ignoring my pedantry, this is a visit I would heartily recommend to family and friends.

“Fantastic accommodation in a wonderful location” The lodge was very clean and well looked after. It had everything we needed with incredible views right out the window. There are lots of outdoor activities on the doorstep - walking, cycling, kayaking, boat rides etc. We wish we had booked to stay for longer. Thank you Doreen for being an attentive host.
