“Perfect cottage for a Lake District trip” Firstly, Christine was very helpful in arranging everything for our stay and always responded to emails quickly which is always want you want when trying to arrange holidays. Secondly, the cottage itself is great!! Decorated tastefully with everything you could need, small touches that were well thought of and appreciated by us. Kitchen is fully equipped to cook meals, fire was lovely on our rainy evenings and the location was great. Walking in to Kendal is super easy and quick and the town had plenty of places to eat and drink. Christine recommended a restaurant called New Moon for my partners birthday and it was great! Third and final point is on the location for accessing the Lake District (Windermere and Grasmere were the two we went to) tourist spots was perfect, nice short and scenic drive. Couldn't fault a thing with our stay here! Thank you very much to a great host.
