“Lovely stay” I stayed at the Market Place Hideaway with my two [grown up] children for three nights, and used it as a base to do some walking. It is a beautifully presented, tastefully decorated property, in a great location close to shops, bars and restaurants, whilst at the same time being sufficiently 'tucked away' to ensure peace and quiet. Although free parking is available within the town, this is located a five minute walk away [down hill] so I would recommend that guests travel light so as to avoid carrying too much heavy luggage. Although the self catering facilities provided are very good, I would recommend popping in to Nina's coffee shop [a 20 pace walk] for a takeout sausage/bacon bap or toastie.
“Luxury break” Lovely cottage with great views of Lake District from every point. High quality furnishings and fittings and really enjoyed the complimentary goodies including wine local cheese bread and pickles especially. Great location for both lakes and Yorkshire sights but away from the crowds...perfect
“Short stay” Lovely apartment.... great green area out the front of property for dog walking or just ready a book. Short walk to Kendal town which is a lovely place to go lots of shops to browse around and cafe's. Great walk around Rhydal back into Ambleside.
“Kendal holiday” We rented apartment b for a girls birthday weekend celebration. We had a fantastic weekend. The hot tub an added bonus. We spent hours every night in it. The lounge was a great size with more than enough seats to lounge and relax. Only a short walk into Kendal. Would highly recommend.
