“Delightful house in lovel location” We thoroughly enjoyed our short break in this lovely house. It's very well equipped and is extremely comfortable. We loved the wood burning stove and the large garden. Lots of activities, books to read, DVDs etc. Ideal for adults and families. Beautiful area. We recommend a visit to nearby Sizergh Castle and grounds.

“Lovely stay” I stayed at the Market Place Hideaway with my two [grown up] children for three nights, and used it as a base to do some walking. It is a beautifully presented, tastefully decorated property, in a great location close to shops, bars and restaurants, whilst at the same time being sufficiently 'tucked away' to ensure peace and quiet. Although free parking is available within the town, this is located a five minute walk away [down hill] so I would recommend that guests travel light so as to avoid carrying too much heavy luggage. Although the self catering facilities provided are very good, I would recommend popping in to Nina's coffee shop [a 20 pace walk] for a takeout sausage/bacon bap or toastie.

“Cosy, warm cottage with really welcoming and helpful owners” Cosy, warm cottage with really welcoming and helpful owners. The cottage ticked every box especially once we'd lit the fire and tucked into a bottle of red. The owners couldn't have been more welcoming (but don't worry they weren't intrusive!) and had no issue in helping us out once we'd found out we'd arrived without our towels. Thoroughly recommend a stay here.
