“Excellent place to stay.” The owner was so helpful plus the on site staff where the chalet is located. Could not fault the views just as advertised. Well equipped inside, very clean with everything you need to cook with. Hot water all the time and comfortable beds. Will be returning! Thanks Steven was an enjoyable 2 weeks almost,

“lovely holiday” we had a lovely week, the bungalow was clean & had everything you needed for a enjoyable stay. The only downside ( which isn't the owners fault ) was the road leading to the site, it had so many pot holes & desperately needs resurfacing.

“Wonderful stay” We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Top Deck in ventnor, in a fabulous Position overlooking the sea. The apartment ( which is amazing so don't be put off by approaching it from the back) has absolutely everything you would possible need including so many thoughtful extras, we spent lots of time watching passing ships and fishing boats with the telescope And binoculars provided it was great. And the view from the roof terrace is breathtaking.Serena and Michaels communication from booking through to the end of our break was brilliant and we were informed of exactly everything we needed to know, there was so much information about the apartment, reading materials, info on the island and places to visit you were sure of a great time, and of course all the little thoughtful extras fresh flowers, fresh bread , fresh fruit, milk, wine, juice, cake I could go on and on. We just can't wait to return and do that lovely walk to steephill cove and enjoy our crab pasty !! Fresh fried fish of the day off the harbour, our tapas in the Met, and fish pie in the spyglass, plus the hundreds of things the island has to offer. Thank you soooo much Serena and Michael x

“Great holiday in a lovely property” We stayed at the Mill House as an extended family (myself, my husband, my parents, my brother and sister in law and four kids under the age of 5). It is a lovely, spacious property in quiet location but within walking distance of the local village pub and shop in Brighstone. Positive points: Great welcome pack Lovely bedrooms which were spacious with comfortable beds and quality linen. The view from the bedrooms is delightful and it was particularly good to wake up to see the cows in the field neighbouring the garden. Lots of room for the kids to play both inside and out Plenty of toys and games to keep the children entertained - the 3 year and 2 year old particularly liked the jigsaws. Lots of room to park - great if you are travelling with multiple cars as we were. Negative points: We felt that the cleaning wasn't up to the expected standard in the bathrooms (some areas were a bit grimey so we had to wipe them ourselves), the kitchen cupboard doors which were visibly greasy, especially around the handles and the snug which was quite dusty in places. Not much cupboard space for food as all but one of the cupboards were full of crockery (even with ten of us staying we couldn't get through that much crockery). There is no stool for the piano and no music so it was a bit of a pretty ornament (shame as we would have liked to have used it). A TV in the main sitting room would have been nice as there wasn't room for all 6 of the adults to sit in the Snug to watch television together. I must stress that the negatives above we're only minor irritations and that on the whole, we had a great time. I would go back to the property in future years and would be happy to recommend it to friends.

“perfect place for family holiday” The location was amazing, the beach was 5 minute away. the house was neat and clean and spacious. the homeowner was quick in replying all of my queries. We were really impressed with the whole house layout. rooms were spacious, clean, they have few board games in the house which my 7-year-old son loved. I would highly recommend this place and for sure will book this place for my next holidays.

“Excellent accommodation - location and local people” Good walks at rear and front of the property on this dog friendly island. Property overlooks the sea with fenced green area (for Victoria cottages residents) where rabbits and children can play. In this area dogs must be on a lead for safety and hygiene reasons. Very short walk through this green takes you to the sea where dogs can wander freely. Walk to the left and beach is okay for sandcastles but nowhere is safe for swimming. Only two of us, plus dog, but cottage would comfortably house 4 adults. Very smart, clean and quiet. Only small fenced front garden if your dog is an escape artist but the wood at back has good trails that lead to view of Needles and eventually coastal path. We love the area and cottage .... BUT don't expect to find supermarkets in good supply. However there is a Co op in Freshwater. 15 mins walk into Yarmouth good for eating and tourism but quite small.

“Island Retreat” From start to finish our stay at 'The Villas' was simply 'Great'. From the hassle free booking, straight forward instructions into the property & the welcome folder where very helpful. The holiday let was very clean, fresh and modern with the bedroom overlooking a quiet street. Plenty of extra linen & towels if required. It didn't matter that we couldn't park outside the peoperty, it was only a short walk to 'The green' & was a delightful added difference to the daily trips out. We were fortunate to have good weather and brought our bikes, which we were secured in the back yard overnight. The local area is beautiful and very easy to access on foot, with some very disirable cafes, pubs & restaurant on your doorstep. Leaflets can be found in the lounge of the holiday let. We would definetly stay here again.
