An amazing house to stay in, with excellent facilities. We were a group of 4 couples, staying for a long weekend. The house had everything we required, and the bonus was the fact that the beach was at the bottom of the garden, and we could walk to the local pub along the beach! The views from the house and the bedrooms of the Solent and the bay were stunning, and to see the sunrise in the morning over the sea was beautiful. Sally, who managed the house, was very welcoming and helpful, and the additional touches of champagne, flowers and chocolates just added to our delight. We would all love to come back for a stay another time, and would recommend this house for anyone looking for a stay on the beach. Just beautiful. …
Salterns Village, Premier 2 Bedroom Cottage, Seaview, Isle of Wight
Summer Holiday 2018
Firstly will start with a negative. The pictures we were shown of our two bedroom chalet on booking with Trip Advisor were wrong. These pictures showed a bedroom with ensuite upstairs and second bedroom downstairs. These pictures are in fact that of the three bedroom chalet. Trip Advisor needs to change this as it is very misleading. Sadly the site manager could do nothing to resolve this as we didn't book through them. We were quite squished.
On a more positive note we were thoroughly spoilt with the weather and being so close to the beach was brilliant for the family and dog. Two great pubs selling food nearby.
The site was clean and tidy and the coffee shop was useful as an extra place to hang out for the WiFi. Bit disappointed some people let their dogs wander around off the lead into other chalets but perhaps a fenced garden area would stop this.
Would recommend to others. …

Seaside Holiday Cottage, Seaview Isle of Wight
Perfect holiday cottage for a young family in ideal location for exploring the Isle of Wight.
We've just returned from our holiday staying at "The Lobster Pot" with our two young girls (2 and 4 years old) and had such a fantastic holiday. The holiday house is in a beautiful, peaceful location and has been so well thought out for adults and children alike. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch, and the house is so well equipped to make holidaying with young children easier (cutlery, high chair, stair gates, black out blinds, toys, games, DVDs, trampoline, beach buggy as examples).
Our 2 girls loved it; they particularly loved seeing the horses from the back garden, using the trampoline, beach buggy rides down to Seagrove Bay, and playing with all the toys.
Ideally situated for many days out, and a perfect base for exploring the Isle of Wight with young children, I would highly recommend staying here. We certainly would love to come and stay again, as would our girls who have already asked when we're coming back.
Fantastic communication from the start, and I can't think of anything that could make "The Lobster Pot" better. Thank you very much for giving us a family holiday to remember. …
