“Perfect spot for morning swims and sunset views.” A quiet location with beach access. Lovely views and sunsets. The chalet has everything we needed and the owners were very helpful, leaving extra beach towels for us. Easy to get to from the Lymington - Yarmouth ferry.

“lovely holiday” we had a lovely week, the bungalow was clean & had everything you needed for a enjoyable stay. The only downside ( which isn't the owners fault ) was the road leading to the site, it had so many pot holes & desperately needs resurfacing.

“Great location and beautiful vuews” We had a wonderful few days on the Isle of Wight staying in this perfect bungalow - extremely clean, well equipped and perfect location with 2 young boys to entertain. The views are beautiful and with great weather we were able to enjoy the sunsets. The beach is only a short walk down and is great for kids. We had an amazing meal at The Beach Hut and would thoroughly recommend the fish and chips at the Rainbow Fish Bar in freshwater. Margaret was extremely helpful with any queries we had and always responded quickly. Thank you for a perfect holiday!

“Excellent cottage, good location, thoughtful owners.” The cottage is really good for young families as they have so many toys, games and DVDs for the kids to enjoy on wet days, and the play den in the garden is really well equipped with toys. It is really beautifully furnished, exceptionally clean and tidy and the location is excellent for the beach and exploring the Island. Had a lovely week in spite of the weather. Would definitely go back.

“perfect place for family holiday” The location was amazing, the beach was 5 minute away. the house was neat and clean and spacious. the homeowner was quick in replying all of my queries. We were really impressed with the whole house layout. rooms were spacious, clean, they have few board games in the house which my 7-year-old son loved. I would highly recommend this place and for sure will book this place for my next holidays.

“Will book again.” I cannot thank Paul, the owner, enough. The accommodation was exactly what we were after. It is clean and well kept, with everything a family could ask for. My wife and I stayed for a week with our 7 year old and 5 year old twins and had a lovely time. Upon arrival we found tea, coffee, milk and even some biscuits as well as an information pack. The cottage was immaculately clean and we could find no fault. There were towels provided in the bathroom and all required pots, pans, utensils and crockery in the kitchen. There is also a nice patio set to use and my wife and I spent a few hours every evening, just sat outside and enjoying the peace and quiet. The addition of a washing machine and iron is a great help and we returned home without a pile of dirty clothes as a result. Paul was available if needed but we had no need to contact him. I cannot recommend this location enough, everywhere on the island is within reach in good time, there is a little shop on site and there is a play park also. The beach is no more than 5 minutes walk away. Although we did not use them, there are also free bus passes provided. My wife and I will certainly be booking to stay again. Thank you.

“A lovely bungalow with stunning views.” The bungalow is lovely. It is spacious, very comfortable and well equipped. I loved how each bedroom had a different soft but co-ordinated colour scheme. The views over the Solent from the front of the property are spectacular and the garden is beautiful from the back. The only problem we had was with the steep driveway. We have a Volvo V60 but the car wasn’t happy going up it and we had a few scary moments. Apart from this my husband, sister and I had a really enjoyable holiday.

“Excellent place to stay.” The owner was so helpful plus the on site staff where the chalet is located. Could not fault the views just as advertised. Well equipped inside, very clean with everything you need to cook with. Hot water all the time and comfortable beds. Will be returning! Thanks Steven was an enjoyable 2 weeks almost,

“Beautiful and Relaxing” Springfield Cottage is beautiful, well equiped and furnished beautifuly. Hillary and David welcomed us and explained the workings etc about the cottage. The cake was yummy. You have your own private area in the garden to relax and wind down with a large glass of wine after a hectic day out. Newchurch is a beautiful village, with a Pub, a Church and a Post Office. There are many walks from the village and, if like us you take your bikes there is a cycle track through the village which takes you to either Newport of Sandown.

“Spacious and comfortable bungalow, great location.” Stayed at Easter time with husband and young daughter also took elderly parents-in-law with us for a break. We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious it was. Two very comfortable spacious double bedrooms and a single room, beds very comfortable. Decor clean and neutrally decorated, some soft furnishings a little outdated but that didnt bother us at all. New kitchen and bathroom well equipped everything you'll need. Comfy living room with ample sofas and t.v. Garden nice for children to explore in, with an anderson shelter which my daughter thought exciting. Just a 2 min walk to seafront and to shops. Which was great for grandparents to explore the antique shops. Parking right next to front of property, but you have to drive down a narrow driveway at the side of another bungalow as it's hiding behind. Cannot be seen from main roadside. We have a large people carrier and it was rather dicey but we managed ok. We had a great time staying here. I would recommend it to anyone with small children or grandparents. We will definately come back here as great base for exploring IOW. Very easy picking up keys as the lady who looks after the property for the owners lives in the adjacent bungalow. She was extremely friendly and helpful and if we wanted to ask anything she was happy to help.
