“great location” We stayed at Kingsdown for a week, with four adults and a toddler in our party. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay, and was very well equipped for our son. The site is very nice, with plenty of space around the cabins, and a very good pool. It helped that we had good weather, and that it was the week before half term, so nice and quiet. Kingston itself is lovely, and we visited some beautiful places along the coast.
“Wonderful property in an excellent location!” The house is ideally located directly across the street from Deal beach - good for walking & quick to get to the local shops. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you'd need. The spacious lounge was great with its panoramic view of the seafront and very comfortable sofa & chairs. Bedrooms are all well sized with comfy beds. Plenty of bathrooms & hot water. Would certainly recommend to others!
“Excellent location” 49 The Marina is a blessing for people with toddlers. The only decision we had to make was when we wanted to stay. Knowing everything was there waiting for us to turn up helped enormously. Even the cot had already been made up when we arrived.
The apartment is on the ground floor and you don't need to worry about letting your toddler roam around. It is also in an excellent location, being a 20 minute walk from the pier and right on the beach. I went to sleep at night to the sounds of the waves.
The owners are lovely and very approachable. They even left us a little gift to get us settled in and the fresh eggs were lovely.
While the apartment really does have everything you will need with a cot, bedding and high chair, I would definitely recommend visitors taking some toys with them. There are heaps of board games and some small toys for children but if the weather isn't great it won't be enough for a little one.
We'd love to return one day. Thank you for the lovely stay.
Deal is a picturesque town looking out across the English Channel. A popular spot for tourists, it has a rich history that you can explore during your stay.
Choose your holiday rental in Deal today and start planning your next trip to the seaside.
Deal lies on the coast of Kent, not too far from Dover. In fact, on clear days you can see the coast of France - sadly we can't guarantee the weather for you, but it's worth keeping a look out!
This historic town is rumoured to be Julius Caesar's first arrival point in England, so see if you can spot the Roman influences throughout the town.
What to Do
Take a stroll down Deal pier and look back towards the shore; you'll see the White Cliffs of Dover.
Wander down Deal High Street and indulge yourself in the selection of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. You're bound to find a good souvenir or two during your stay.
Top Deal Travel Tips
The best way to see Deal is to walk around the town. Walk down the cobbled streets and try and have a look around the churches while you're there.

1 Alfred Square Deal Kent
The holiday was good. Weather excellent, accommodation good but advertised by HOLIDAY LETTINGS as spacious. Not so our apartment was compact. However we did not let it spoil our holiday. 10 days have elapsed since our return and am still awaiting the refund of my damage deposit from Holiday Lettings. Absolute terrible company to deal with. Their rating 0.5/10 …

Seafront luxury house with stunning views in Deal
A great Deal
We really enjoyed seeing Deal again and living in your lovely quirky house. We found the stairs a little challenging but with the sturdy handrails we all managed and felt we had saved on gym fees.
Thank you for the wine and the super TV - great for family viewing especially epics. The only slight criticism was that the two single beds are a bit firm (I know some people like that) but perhaps a couple of mattress toppers kept in the ample wardrobes would help.
The house is in the perfect position with the seaview and yet easy walking to Deal Castle and town centre. …
A wonderful large seafront house sleeping up to 8

Charming Georgian Town House in the heart of Deal's Conservation area
The best holiday home we have stayed in
This is by far the best holiday home we have stayed in yet. We have been coming to Deal for years and have always chosen self catering houses. This exceeded all our expectations. We arrived late in the evening in the winter and the Keepers Cottages team lit the fire for us and left us a delicious home made cake. The house is beautiful and spacious and has well proportioned rooms with high ceilings. It is light and airy and extremely well equipped. We were two families sharing and there was lots of space for the kids to sit and watch TV and play games in the sitting room while us grown ups sat around the dining table. There is a wood burner in one room and another fire in the sitting room. Having 3 bathrooms is such a treat and there is a gorgeous courtyard which would be lovely for outside dining in the warmer months. The house is on Middle Street, one of the prettiest streets in Deal. The seafront is seconds away as is the High Street. Deal is full of wonderful independent shops and restaurants. Frog and Scott is a French bistro which has recently opened and the owners are so friendly. The Slow Food cafe does great breakfast and the market on a Saturday is fantastic. We love Deal and we love this house and shall always book through Keepers Cottages. They were incredibly helpful, providing a travel cot and a highchair. They were so friendly and very professional. The house was immaculate and the whole experience was superb! Can't wait to come back …
49 The Marina
Spacious and super-comfortable seaside retreat
One of the best places we’ve ever booked for a holiday. Finding accommodation with comfortable beds is one of my priorities - if it’s important to you, then this place is perfect. Bedrooms are really spacious with luxurious bedding and towels. The accommodation was perfect for three couples, and we felt we all had our own space as well as the shared area for cooking, eating and relaxing. The apartment is beautifully equipped with just about everything you need - including things for the beach, dvds, music, games and for cooking (loads of pans/ dishes etc which self catering places often don’t provide). And we did cook several times during our week’s stay, to make the most of the amazing local produce on offer in Deal with its fabulous butchers and fishmonger. We had some lovely meals out as well though, both in the town and further out. But one of the loveliest things was to have everything we needed essentially on the doorstep -the beach across the road, pubs within 5 minutes, and a 10/15 minute walk into town. We absolutely fell in love with Deal. Molly was a lovely host without us actually meeting, leaving us wine and chocolates on arrival and a note when we left, and helping us out with specific recommendations. We will definitely be back. …
