“great location” We stayed at Kingsdown for a week, with four adults and a toddler in our party. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay, and was very well equipped for our son. The site is very nice, with plenty of space around the cabins, and a very good pool. It helped that we had good weather, and that it was the week before half term, so nice and quiet. Kingston itself is lovely, and we visited some beautiful places along the coast.
“A homely, spacious, tastefully decorated cottage, In the most perfect location.” We stayed in the cottage for a week and had a great holiday!
Over the last 20 years of holidaying in the UK, this was one of the best holiday homes we have lived in.
The high standard of cleanliness was perfect .Especially for allergy sufferers as ourselves.
Yet,at the same time everything was comfortable and homely. Our son loved coming back to the cottage at the end of a long day out.
Even during a week of mixed weather, we had no shortage of places to visit and local attractions to go to.Not to mention the shops and eating places on the doorstep, many places are children friendly, which makes a big difference!
And at the end of the day a relaxing short walk down by the seafront and a five minute walk back, made our time away special.Would highly recommend!
Deal is a picturesque town looking out across the English Channel. A popular spot for tourists, it has a rich history that you can explore during your stay.
Choose your holiday rental in Deal today and start planning your next trip to the seaside.
Deal lies on the coast of Kent, not too far from Dover. In fact, on clear days you can see the coast of France - sadly we can't guarantee the weather for you, but it's worth keeping a look out!
This historic town is rumoured to be Julius Caesar's first arrival point in England, so see if you can spot the Roman influences throughout the town.
What to Do
Take a stroll down Deal pier and look back towards the shore; you'll see the White Cliffs of Dover.
Wander down Deal High Street and indulge yourself in the selection of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. You're bound to find a good souvenir or two during your stay.
Top Deal Travel Tips
The best way to see Deal is to walk around the town. Walk down the cobbled streets and try and have a look around the churches while you're there.

Georgian townhouse by the sea - garden & parking
Mini break with 2 family & kids aged 9months to 9 years
The house was super clean, tidy and massive. It was a freezing weekend with the snowy wind & to start with the house was a bit cold. But once we realised not all the radiators were on and found a portable radiator to move around the house all was good. We had so much space that the baby could sleep soundly in the day while the big kids could giggle & live a little. The beds were really comfortable, the linen beautiful, the towels soft & nice provision of essentials - loo roll, tea bags, dishwasher tabs etc highly recommend …

49 The Marina
Perfect for holidays with children
My partner and I stayed at The Marina with our two young daughters who are 2 and 7 months. Holidaying with babies is no easy feat but this apartment is so well equipped for young children. The high chairs, travel cots and bouncy chairs were all set up ready for our arrival. The kitchen is equipped with kids plates, cups and cutlery (my daughter took a particular shine to the Thomas the Tank engine spoon!) and there is a cupboard full of books, toys and DVDs for little ones which kept mine entertained and happy.
The fact that the apartment is all on one floor was fantastic as we didn't need to worry about stairgates, and the garden area was lovely to sit out on an evening. Parking was easily available directly outside the apartment, and the location is fantastic - right on the seafront and a short stroll on the front to the town.
We will definitely be back again! Thanks so much Molly for being a fantastic host, we had a fabulous holiday.
