Just one row back from the seafront, our cosy seaside home provides easy access to Deal beach. Start your day with a refreshing dip or settle on the pebbles with a morning cup of tea and watch the day wake.
Styled with a modern botanical flair and with comfort in mind this home is perfect for couples and families. There's a very small, pebbled outside area. When the doors are open you can hear the gulls and waves with the wind in the right direction.
Perfectly located for the beach, promenade and Deal High Street too. There is so much to enjoy within walking distance. If you are bringing your car you are in luck as there is unrestricted free on street parking which is a hard to find in Deal.
The accommodation is a terrace property on a quiet street at the North end of Deal. The open plan living space has a contemporary feel with two, two-seater Made sofas at one end and an Ercol dining table with seating for four at the other. A decor of white, green, pink and grey tones creates a natural-friendly atmosphere that is seen again with the outside pebbled area. The kitchen is galley style with the bathroom at the back.
A good night's rest is almost guaranteed sleeping under goose feather down duvets. The bedroom configuration is an oak double bed in the front bedroom with space for a travel cot. The back bedroom has attractive black iron twin beds. Please note, it is a small room that fits snugly the single beds, a console table, bedside table and some hooks for hanging clothes. Cases can slide under the beds. The staircase is a little narrow and steep-ish so it might not be suitable for the elderly (especially with the bathroom downstairs). The bathroom has been completely refitted in the last year and is now a contemporary space with walk in shower (no bath).
We welcome dogs. Dogs will need to be walked along our beautiful beach and streets for exercise. The outdoor area is completely enclosed and offers complete privacy as its not overlooked.
The cottage is situated at the North End of Deal behind Deal's Rowing Club. There is nothing nicer than stepping onto the beach in the early evening and watching the rowers glide to Deal Pier as the colours of the sky change over the pier.
Our award winning High Street with its independent shops selling contemporary arts, crafts and home furnishings is a few minute's walk away and there is a good choice of restaurants, wine bars and coffee shops. Historic Middle Street starts just around the corner with it's interesting array of fisherman cottages and the welcoming Ship pub is popular amongst the locals especially on the weekends.
For those new to Deal, Deal is on the East Kent coast and is an unspoilt British seaside town. There is so much to do here including exploring the beautiful coastline, countryside walks, visiting the two castles built by Henry VIII, great golfing opportunities with Championship links courses in the area and some lovely beach front pubs. You can even go seal spotting on a high speed rigid inflatable.
