“Absolutely fabulous” This was our second stay at the house and it didn't disappoint at all just as brilliant as it was last year. Everything you need is provided. It's so quiet and peaceful. The children loved the house and were always on nature hunts. The rare breed centre is just 15 minutes away and is a brilliant day out. Can't wait to book to go back next year.

“Don't want to go home” The is the best place we have been on our holiday. The owners are the most helpful persons we have met. The cottage is clean and wel equipped. Canterbury, Folkestone and other places are within a half hour driving so you can visit the city's during the day and enjoy the quiet surrounding at Shaws Farm in the evening. We will come back for a second stay.

Old Sawmill 2 Mill Cottages
2 old saw mill

Elegant views and peaceful setting, not much to do around area without alot of money or transport. Wildwood Trust is good on price and size for a day out as long as don't mind about 30-40 min travel and best to take a lunch with you and book in advance is still in place. Game room on the site is OK not much to do in there apart from snooker, table tennis and a varies board games. Owner Caroline is very helpful and polite and does check to make sure all guest are fine and happy. Upon arrival owner wasn't here to meet up but did inform us before arrival, left sister in law to do the meet and greet she wasn't as helpful and her politeness was lacking as she left keys in the door of the accommodation we were staying in. Price of the holiday was to steep slightly £280 would of been more than enough for the three nights stay. Overall place was fairly tidy was a few dust spots here and there and a few dirty mirrors, a few insects laying around but that's to be expected with design of building. Having said that it was a very tranquil stay with getting back to nature and natural areas barely touched by mankind. Also good to have knowledge of area or have a working sat nav as is easy to get lost down the country lanes. Its a ideal place to spend a holiday from the hustle of everyday life.see more
Eversleigh Lodges Beech Lodge
Great little base for a trip to Kent!

Enjoyed our stay here. The lodge had everything we needed, including comfy beds, a good shower, kitchen with all we could want, including a dishwasher and tablets, washing up liquid, big TV in the lounge etc. We loved the swimming pool (with showers next door) and playing table tennis and pool in the games room. There were also loads of books or DVDs you could borrow. Local pub (1 mile) had great food including vegan options. Short drive to the sea and loads of places to visit. Only reason I’ve not given 5 stars (I’d have given 4.5 if I could) is that the games room could have benefited from a cobweb cull, some chalk for the pool table, and the pool area a mop to sweep up the puddles we made! I’d have also liked a slightly later check out time… all very minor things! All in all a really great place, nice and quiet, lovely woods to walk in and a very helpful host! Don’t forget to take bath towels and beach towels and soap, shampoo etc.see more
Kindling Cottage
Lovely cottage in a quiet setting.

I stayed here for 3 months while I was waiting to move into my new house. The cottage is lovely - well-furnished and equipped with everything you could need. The setting is idyllic and the owners are friendly and helpful. … see more

A great escape

We had a very enjoyable stay for the weekend. The location was accessible to explore the Kent coast and was quiet and peaceful. The accommodation was great, beds comfy, very clean and everything you could need was accommodated for by Keith, including an amazing welcome pack! He went the extra mile and then some... We had dinner at The Kings Head which was lovely. Food portions were huge and great value for money. Not within walking distance but a cab was £12.00 and worth it for the lack of hassle. We will definitely be back, thank you Keith see more

Countryside holiday home located south of Ashford, Kent
Lovely big house in the countryside not far from beaches

We have just arrived home from a lovely family holiday at Woodlands. There was plenty of space both inside and out for 6 adults and 2 children. Each couple had their own bathroom which was great and worked well. Everything needed was provided. The weather was exceptionally warm so more fans would be the only improvement. The children loved playing in the large, safe garden and we all enjoyed sitting out, enjoying the sun. The beds were really comfortable and large. The kitchen, dining room and living area are open plan which feels very spacious and relaxing. The house is very light which is always nice and allows the wonderful views to be appreciated from indoors. We visited Dymchurch beach which was great for children and only 20 minutes drive. They also enjoyed a day out to Hops farm. We highly recommend Crusader takeaway, great kebabs and pizza. The Whitehorse pub has a good beer garden whilst The Dukes Head serves good sized meals.Alan the host was helpful and there if needed but not over fussy. We were sad to leave and could have stayed longer. Thank you for a lovely stay!see more
