Old Sawmill 1 Stables
Peaceful retreat in the heart of the countryside

The Old Sawmill proved to be an excellent retreat. The property was very well kept, was modern, and had all the necessary amenities. The owner is very friendly and helpful, which added to our experience. Located deep in the Kent countryside, there were several footpaths from the property which meant excellent walking was on the doorstep. One point to bear in mind is that its location means the lanes around it are very narrow, so a cautious approach to driving in the area is needed. and on that issue it may be worth considering driving to the property from junction 9 of M20 via A28 to Wye, and then on to Hastingleigh as the roads are wider. The railway station at Wye (3 miles) is very convenient, (15 mins to Canterbury) You can also get to many other destinations from there. All in all, a very enjoyable experience.see more
