Description

In a sought-after spot on Deal's picturesque seafront, with its pebble beach and award-winning Pier, you're just a short, level walk along the prom to restaurants, pubs, a wide selection of shops including independent and high street names, and supermarkets. Whilst literally a stone's throw from the beach and within the sound of the rolling waves, this is a ground-floor property and does not have direct sea views.

This sensitively renovated apartment now has all mod cons, whilst maintaining its period features of 1894, including original fireplaces in every room, the tiniest letter box and cornicing worthy of a wedding cake!

There are three large bedrooms, two with en suites, as well as a separate bathroom, sunny courtyard garden at the back which is perfect for lazy BBQs, patio area to front. Parking is free directly outside (a rarity in Deal). There is an undercover storage area ideal for golf clubs, bikes, pushchairs, wellington boots, buckets and spades, and of course your pebble collections... All on one level, with no stairs, the apartment is ideal for families with young children or people with limited mobility.

There are two convenience shops within 500 yards and all super markets will deliver directly to the apartment should you want to arrange this online before arrival.

Getting around

Deal is easily reached by road or rail. The Javelin High speed trains run direct from London St Pancras International in only 1 hour and 15 mins. If you prefer to bring the car we are easily accessible from the A2/M2 and there is free parking directly outside the apartment (a rarity in Deal) with spaces easily available even in high season. From the apartment it is easily walkable into the heart town in under 15mins. Deal and the surrounding country side is very flat and perfect for anything on wheels! We have undercover storage for prams, bikes and scooters and a great local bike hire company should you need it.

We had a fabulous week in Deal. Molly's 49 The Marina was the perfect location! We could jump over the wall for a quick swim in the sea, walk into Deal and had easy access to other great places to visit including Walmer castle and Sandwich. This part of the coast is really lovely and very family friendly. The apartment is extremely well equipped, beautiful and very comfortable. We loved Deal and we will definitely be back to visit again. Thanks very much.

We loved our stay in this apartment and it was so well positioned to explore the gorgeous (and hip) town of Deal, the sea front (just cross the road) and nearby attractions. We hired bikes, shopped and had supper on the beach in front of the Zetland Arms pub. It was the perfect getaway. The apartment is beautifully maintained with a sun trap garden at the back - extremely comfortable beds, crisp fresh linen, brilliant showers and a bathroom for every bedroom! The kitchen is also clean and has everything you need (or a BBQ outside). Parking for free right outisde was also a bonus. We had superb food at the Rose hotel. Deal really is a hidden gem of a place. Will be back!

Back for our second stay this year, we had another lovely week in Deal. Perfect location in a lovely town, the apartment was everything we’d remembered: fantastically equipped, comfortable, warm and within walking distance of pubs, restaurants, town centre and of course the sea. I am sure we will be back again.

“Ideal apartment!!”

Wonderful comfy place to stay! Warm, and exceptionally clean and has very well kitted out kitchen( which is most unusual......normally very basic equipment is installed)large bedrooms,good quality bed linen and lovely large fluffy towels. Lots of local information provided in the folder......... Unfortunately, we had almost continuous rain and wind, during our break in deal, which restricted our " places to go"intentions, but of course this has no reflection on the owners, who incidentally were there if needed, helpful and available if required. My friend and I would definitely recommend "Molly's " place, as a place to stay either as a short break or summer holiday.

Second time at this apartment. Great location facing the sea, easy walk into the centre. Deal is an interesting town and is a good base to explore the surrounding area. I would recommend the apartment.

“Comfortable, well equipped appartment”

The apartment is well situated on Deal seafront with free on street parking directly outside. It offers very comfortable well equipped accommodation. The bedrooms are large with ample space for six adults. The sitting room would maybe be a little tight for six adults (probably better suited to 4 adults and 2 children) but was very comfortable for the three of us. The walk along the front in Deal is very pleasant and we enjoyed nearby Dover Castle (we went by train) and the medieval town of Sandwich. Molly responded very quickly to enquiries and was an attentive host, I would have no hesitation in recommending a stay at 49 The Marina.

This is an amazing rental property in the idyllic coastal town of Deal. The location allows for easy access to the lovely seashore, the charming town center and a world class golf course. The residence has all the comforts of home, and then some, and is particularly suitable for children and those who are less mobile. The owners were very easy to communicate with in arranging for our visit and went out of their way to accommodate our every request before, during and after our stay. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a welcoming environment.

5 of us stayed here for a wonderful sunny week in August. Great beach front location with free on-street parking and only a short walk into town. The flat is all on one level which was much appreciated by my elderly parents. It has comfy beds and all the essentials are provided. We would definitely consider staying here again.
