Highly recommended puzzle woods too.

“1st class forest break” What an amazing little lodge in the heart of the forest. It has everything you could need and more with a touch of first class. Perfect location,stunning scenery and beautiful walks right on your doorstep. My dogs thoroughly enjoyed they're stay as did I, and the hot tub is an added bit of luxury which is perfect for relaxing in the evenings. I will definitely be returning soon. “Badgers End cottage” Badgers end was a beautiful homely cottage, set in a stunning location. Was welcomed by a very tasty cake and note (wishing my sister a happy birthday, as it was surprise weekend away for her 30th) Carol the owner was absolutely lovely and was a pleasure meeting her, definitely somewhere we would all want to go again. It was everything and more than what I was expecting. A fantastic place to escape to, to enjoy the forest and surrounding. The only downside was that we couldn’t stay longer.

“An excellent break” We recently stayed for a week after Christmas and into the New Year at the Silhouette Cottage. In spite of the miserable weather we enjoyed a lovely relaxing break. We found the cottage to be warm, comfortable and well equipped- a "cut above the rest"! A short walk around this interesting village is to be recommended, as is The White Horse pub (almost next door) for the excellent food.
