“Peace, tranquility and a fabulous family stay” Bushcombe House Farm is stunning. The five bedrooms allowed our whole family to be fully relaxed and rested with plenty of individual and communal spaces. The farm house is finished to a very high standard and the views are to die for. The garden is perfect for children to play in as well as for adults to relax and socialise. The house had everything we needed. Tesco was only a 5 minute ride away. The owners had done everything in their power to make the property Covid safe in these unprecedented times and we felt safe the whole time. I don't think we would have felt like that in a seaside hotel and location. There were some lovely little touches too like milk, biscuits and wine left for us on arrival. The owners Peter and Lyn were also very helpful in the run up to the holiday, they responded quickly to any messages we sent, as this was our first cottage holiday as a family. Thanks so much. We couldn't have asked for a better location or property to escape to.

“Loved it!” Just come back from a long weekend stay in the Squirrel! The lodge itself is luxurious with all its modern finishings. It has underfloor heating which meant even in oct/nov weather it was always lovely and warm. The hot tub was perfect to relax in at the end of an activity packed day! The lodge is right next to some forest trails , and close to lots of activities within a few mins drive (clearwell caves, puzzlewood etc). All of the extra details really made the weekend special. I can't wait to book again!

“Absolutely amazing” We throughly enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous lodge. From great communication from the hosts before our stay, to arriving to a gorgeous, clean, cosy lodge in amazing settings our stay was Perfect. Lodge is in a great location with lots of local attractions near by including a walk in the forest on the doorstep. All linen and towels included and bedrooms and bathroom are very comfortable and just like a home from home. Myself, my partner our two year old daughter and our friends have already said we want to book straight up again for another trip next year

“Family Christmas Break” We were a family of three generations and all had a wonderful stay at Mireystock. The house was very well equipped and we had no problems at all in cooking a full Christmas dinner. The provision of slip on shoes to travel backwards and forwards to the annex, together with bath robes, slippers and pool towels was a thoughtful touch. We enjoyed spending time in the bar and playing on the full sized snooker table. We also enjoyed walks from the house and were fortunate enough to spot a wild boar in the forest. The house was spotlessly clean and cosy and Lucy was very helpful, both prior, during and after our break. We would have no hesitation in recommending Mireystock, we had a lovely time, thank you.

“Bliss at Badger's End” Another lovely stay at Badger's End Cottage, nothing is too much trouble for the owners who are extremely accommodating. The cottage is beautifully kept and in a great location for exploring the Forest of Dean and surrounding area. We will be back for our third stay.
