“Loved it!” Just come back from a long weekend stay in the Squirrel! The lodge itself is luxurious with all its modern finishings. It has underfloor heating which meant even in oct/nov weather it was always lovely and warm. The hot tub was perfect to relax in at the end of an activity packed day! The lodge is right next to some forest trails , and close to lots of activities within a few mins drive (clearwell caves, puzzlewood etc). All of the extra details really made the weekend special. I can't wait to book again!

“Absolutely amazing” We throughly enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous lodge. From great communication from the hosts before our stay, to arriving to a gorgeous, clean, cosy lodge in amazing settings our stay was Perfect. Lodge is in a great location with lots of local attractions near by including a walk in the forest on the doorstep. All linen and towels included and bedrooms and bathroom are very comfortable and just like a home from home. Myself, my partner our two year old daughter and our friends have already said we want to book straight up again for another trip next year

“A brilliant stay” Amazing and relaxing place to stay. Great welcome and accommodating owners throughout stay. Very child friendly. Cottage very clean and comfortable, suited our needs exactly. Wonderful views. Lots of freedom for the children who enjoyed seeing all the animals on the farm - pigs, horses, dogs, chicken and ducks. Great hot tub to enjoy after cycling and walking. Cottage centrally based for all the attractions in the Forest of Dean. Would highly recommend.

“Family Christmas Break” We were a family of three generations and all had a wonderful stay at Mireystock. The house was very well equipped and we had no problems at all in cooking a full Christmas dinner. The provision of slip on shoes to travel backwards and forwards to the annex, together with bath robes, slippers and pool towels was a thoughtful touch. We enjoyed spending time in the bar and playing on the full sized snooker table. We also enjoyed walks from the house and were fortunate enough to spot a wild boar in the forest. The house was spotlessly clean and cosy and Lucy was very helpful, both prior, during and after our break. We would have no hesitation in recommending Mireystock, we had a lovely time, thank you.

“a lovely located cottage.” We were one week at Wren cottage and it was a very nice week. The cottage is very nice, well equiped at a very quiet location. You can hear the birds, the sheep, and the pheasant who returned every night under our window. From here you can walk a lot and also visite places as Cardiff. It is a nice place when you want a quiet relaxed stay.

“Bliss at Badger's End” Another lovely stay at Badger's End Cottage, nothing is too much trouble for the owners who are extremely accommodating. The cottage is beautifully kept and in a great location for exploring the Forest of Dean and surrounding area. We will be back for our third stay.

“Excellent house, excellent location” Beautiful Georgian house, very comfortable, clean, well equipped and as we stayed over Christmas the house was seasonally decorated, complete with a Christmas tree. Not only that but the owner, Andrew, left a welcome pack of wine, mince pies, marmalade and chocolates. If that wasn’t enough, he was at the house with a lovely and much appreciated hot drink on our arrival too! A home from home. The house is in the market place of a small town but has enough amenities to cater for all needs. We hope to return at some point. Many thanks go to Andrew.

“folly good” we stayed at the folly in august for my retirement it was fantastic its even better than what you see in photo,s.
